after listening to them all... there fantastic but you use that build up thing on them all which is very repetitve then becomes annoying! |

sex, drugs & hardcore is qualtiy.... so is shimmy (hahah the old porn kings & flip & fill sample)
all the tracks are bangin quality shit, lovin the gabba tune..
no need for that build up thing on all of the tunes tho!

Sweet stuff, as always cant wait to get my hands on the Kurt goodness :D. Always getting lots of airtime.
I really like the Riff in Dreams, sounds nice.
Electrified has that bouncy Kurt style as well, nice lead.
Was really suprised when that lead came out in electron, really electro sounding stuff.

Yes, I put big buildup in my tracks and do it my way, dosen't everyone .... I think without them it wouldn't be a DJ Kurt track. I'll try and be more origional next time ;-)

I do realise reading back now I may have been a little too sarcy haha. The tracks would sound boring, stupid and bog standard without my buildups imo, it's kind of a signiture thing for me to do them. It sends the crowds nuts aswell :)
Listening back to the clips ... I probably could have done the clips a little better where I don't show all the build up to the drops. |

Just had a ear bash at these tunes kurt and here is my verdict.
Track 1 Dreams - Nice loving the bassline to this one. nice melodic trance sort of sound to the main breakdown, Euphoric almost. Nice tune in the break down love the sound used. marks 10/10 when is it out on the old 12" :):):):):):):)
Track 2 Electrified - Very Very Bouncy Almost freeform i would say. Not the usual but sounds good, Vocal sounds good Like the break in the song with the vocal, sounded nice through and through. not my kind of tune but defo 9/10 for the ravers
Track 3 In A Spin - dosen't work lol clip is only like 1.15 seconds long lol
Track 4 - Make me wanna dance - Mad love here with this tune, Its a classic, Like the start with the stretched vocals and the stabbing sound in the back building up, Nice drop into the tune and wow was not expecting that. Nice sounding, nice work bringing the vocal back into the track sounds sweet. 10/10 for this one matey.
Track 5 Rock Ya Hardcore - Nice starting, Good build up, Love it when i drops in almost verges on gabber, Like this one, not sure about the slower tempo of the tune tho, im sure through a big system it would sound meaty... 8/10
track 6 - Sex drugs hardcore - nice seems to drop into another heavy beat just before the sample cuts off, would like to hear the whole thing before i make any comments, :)
Track 7 - Shimmy - LOL Classsssiiccc - U play that at twisted and everyone will go bonkers LOL any track with those vocals is usual a hit! Love the stretching on the vocal before it drops back in. <--- Jumping about the room ()()))()(()) LOL Defo good track. ( Don't forget a copy of this for your next twisted night it would go down well in Glasgow)
Track 8 - Underground - WOWOWOWOWOW Nice sounding track- watched u on youtube with this track. It sounds epic... Love the sound thats fileted before the hi hat kickis in, KEEPIN IT UNDERGROUND!!!! This track is another cracker, Please bring to TWISTED!! :):):):) 100/10 DEFO.
Track 9 -there for me - nice Piano, Signing sounds nice, Who's on the vocals??
Nice tune when i t breaks after the singing, Nice build up, Dropping into a Healty Kurt Bassline, Very nice track.
Well this concludes my review of your tracks bud. All very nice tracks and im sure ill be adding a few of them to my 12" collection, :):):)
And kurt is right he is the master of the build up. No one else seems to make em like he dose, So keep at it bud, Everyone Loves it!!!
