Uproar I've just been having a look at Hardcore albums on Amazon and they say Hardcore Nation Classics will be released on 19th February.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000K2RCVI/happyhardcore-21
Mortis Nice find Uproar.

Don't really think they deserve to have a HN classics out just yet though.
warped_candykid I think they can make a classics album, as long as they put some old skool Dutch/German HHC on there and do a 175 BPM mix (I know, gotta have it fast). I would like to own a cd with the track "Rainbow To The Stars" by Dune on it.

well the first disc is really the only one thats like a Hardcore Nation mash-up
the other two discs arent classic HN tracks..some are just classics in general otherwise, i dont know... if the tracklist is right, looks like just random mixes with some old tunes some new tunes not necessarily just from previous Hardcore Nations

Ahh, the tracklist wasn't up when this was posted lastnight. It looks like a pretty good compilation, some tracks I havn't seen for a few years anyway. I think I'll be making a purchase of this.

kathryn This looks really horny!

kathryn well i have those tracks to but its good to hear re mixes of them innit?
this-is-bonkers i liek the look of disc 1, a few tracks on disc 2 & 3 i might go out n get this just for the sake of having it really, LOL im not really botherd if ive got them or not its just another album for me but i woudl agree with Mortis on the fact that its not realy needed yet..you reckon it might change to hardcore nation 4?

your being kind smoogie! this has got to be the worst release ever! I said on my hardcore nation classics thread that I was hoping for proper old not been done before stuff! but this just takes the p*ss! CD3 has been done a 100 times before! and the other 2 well what can I say! its been there done it tracks aswell! How many times can these tracks get released on an album? is there a compation to see who gets on one the most? Its definately the first "Hardcore album" I won't buy! Stu Allen and Seduction used to be heros to me but this is garbage! the 1000's of tracks they own and they put these on! CD3 is like a Ratpack doing a family wedding mix! I thought Decadance was MOS not Nukleuz! I'll stop now and let someone else carry on!

warped_candykid ^^^ I agree...This will be 1 cd I pass on. There has to be hundreds of old skool tracks they could have choosed from, and they pick the same tracks that have been put on cd after cd. I want some Cheesey, bouncey, chipmunky vocal goodness from the 1995/96 era!
Woxxy Jakazid on CD 1 track 1?
I don't understand why they don't put it last?
Usually you want a really good track or a cool intro to be the first track and any niche-songs last.
clarke101 Disc 1 No thanks

Disc 2 Hmmm maybe but there looks like no or very little flow to the mix. With lots chopping and changing of styles

Disc 3 Yawn fest
tru bass ive got them all. its a pity because i would like to own the tracks on cd1 but i dont want cd 2 or 3
Lunisneko Lookie! Another CD that starts out with a crap track from the very start! Hooray!

I dunno... I suppose you can never really know how a CD will feel until you've listened to the whole thing through a few times...
Fluffbomb CD1 looks of very little interest to me.

CD2 looks more interesting with some goods tracks but as previously mentioned will probably jump all over the place.

CD3 I love most of the tracks on there but I already have loads of mixes using those tracks.

Later

Agreed!
Rest assured i'll only be making the purchase of this one for the collection!
Sk8SiM Mabie its becuse all 3 were so crap, so the've put all the best tracks on one comp and forgot about all the other "floor fillers"

Just my opinion - its a good comp cuse its showcase's the more bouncy style of hardcore... but - its just not my cup of tea i'm afriad
Hardcore_2_Da_Bone Looking foward to hearing this, line up looks very good :)

11. Human Resource `Dominator' (Joey Riot & DJ Technotrance)
12. Robbie Long & AMS `Trigger Hardcore'
13. Dougal & Gammer `Xtreme'
14. Mauro Picotto `Lizard' (Robbie Long & Stormtrooper Remix)
15. Cappella `U Got 2 Let The Music' (Voyce, Douglas & K-Komplex Remix)

Particulary looking foward to hearing these 5 from Disk 1
kayaus22 I actually like the first 2 they released, the 3rd was..kind of here and there IMO.
but this one, its hard to say..it'll be intresting what people have to say about it after listening.
I'm almost tempted to buy it cause i've boughten the other 3.

Seconded.

What's wrong with doing something different!

If that's the final tracklist, thanks but no thanks.
DJ Phoenix what the hell is happening to this scene?
it's turning into utter commercial bullsh*t. I can't stand it any more!

it's not even worth supporting any more because the cr*p is outweighing the good stuff
kayaus22 ^ hence why you buy the old stuff!
I use to only listen to only newer tunes back in '03-'04 when i first got into this.
But the past year ii find myself searching for older stuff to buy, i rarely buy new releases anymore

This will be the first hardcore series that i will have to have a gap in my collection the only track on there that I could see isn't on any recent album is panic (class tune) I've never been annoyed about anything in hardcore as i have been with this release! AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGHHHHH!!!!!!

HARRIBO ffs this is the reason i hardly buy mos annuals and the like because they put the same dross on every cd mebbe just in a different order.
there is no point to discs one and 3 they are just one big money making waste of time!!!
