There are no bonus points par say, if the scratching is good, suits the music and is okay that is fine... but you wont get "extra" points for scratching if that is what you are asking.

phew!! lol trying to scratch on some 13 y/o citronic belt drive decks is a challenge,coz they've no anti-skate,at least i don't have to borrow my mate's decks now!!

oldskool is fine, just remember the mix has to sound like it all fits together like a professional DJ would do for his or her DJ sets, don't go jumping around from 91-97-93-99 unless it sounds like it should fit like that.

It's fine as long as you can do it in 30 mins and doesn't sound bad. There is no extra points for old records :)

would i be... disqualified... if i put happy gabber in my mix? i'm still kinda not sure if its really a whole nother genre in it self... but like, a few of the pengo releases i have i guess are considered happy gabber... and i'd like to use them...

DJ Veggie: Age will not be taken into consideration, actually the judges will not even know the names of the entries so that there is no favourism. Your brothers mix should be fine.
DjXTCEE: Anything is fine, just remember what the judges would like (hardcore) and it should be fine.
