T O P I C     R E V I E W conan Event name: Neko Nights - Progressive Session Starts: 2004/1/30 Country: United Kingdom City/Region: England Neko Nights has been running Tuesday night events for the past few months, with the policy always been an eclectic, underground music style and friendly atmosphere. Due to their popularity the nights are being stepped up a few gears to put on a Friday event that's a cross between laid back lounge and rave. A huge budget has been put into this one so we're taking over the whole 1,000+ capacity two-storey venue and having it kitted out with an extra sound system complete with ridiculous amounts of lasers, scanners, smoke, bubbles and even snow! Things kick off at 9pm with various progressive styles until 1:30am when the hardcore crew take over with the latest in nu-school and progressive hardcore/trancecore. We'll be taking the experimentation further with exclusive white label trancecore produced by our own DJs, a live drum/synth setup and some underground Japanese hardcore. We had to fight to get hardcore into a mainstream venue here.. let's make it a good, friendly and rocking night! Tickets are only £3 on the door but the first happyhardcore.com visitors to email [email protected] will get on the guestlist with bar privileges! Location: Kiss The Red, Hardman Street, Liverpool (usually a chillout bar/club but we're taking over the venue for a night). 3 cheap bars + cocktail bar.
