I have always gotten this error message every now and then while doing a search but usually I just had to narrow down my search (by putting more words in the search field) to get a successfull search. But latley I've been getting this error all the time even if I try to narrow it down... anyone have the same problem?
it's annoying cause I am/would use the search function alot if it where working for me...

I get the odd error page, but If you do the search again, I usually find it then works!

i usually get the error message, but it seems to be when i do quite a broad search. try refining the search down a bit because i think it's when there's so much to find it crashes .......... good luck!

We have too many messages and our server freaks out... I might have to put tighter rules onto it.

If the thing your searching is new, use the "Search By Date" thing. That's the easyest way to avoid that...
