Are they playing it as a MP3 or a vinyl? - I looked at getting mine pressed on vinyl and it was around £30 for a dub plate.

^^ It's bein played in mp3, They've just downloaded the tunes from the site (See Signature= for those who don't know  )and burned them onto CD. I'm tryin to get the same done here in sheffield...
I THINK i may be able to help you put your tunes onto vinyl, i know someone-who knows someone who can do it....but i think it's not the strongest vinyl-It may bend and scratch easily...

I know a few people that go there regularly, Plus, when the DJ said he was going to play it...I asked him to let me know how it went......fingers crossed it goes down well!!!
I've been asked to go and speak with a DJ in sheffield in one of the student bars now too...maybe i'll get it played here AND be there to hear it played!!!

Just take a bunch of CDs with you whenever you go out and go talk to the DJs wherever you are.... thats what I do sometimes and I've had my stuff played out all over the place (still waiting for a deal though lol). Helps alot if either you know, or are with someone who knows the DJ.

You shouldn't really play out off mp3 but heh whatever. There's a link to a site where you can get a single record pressed for £30 on the main forum on www.ush.net :) . Its says they're dubplates, but they're not in the traditional sense as they apparently don't wear out :)

Money is a bit of a problem at the min, so payin £30 to get it on vinyl is a bit pointless.
If I were to put it on vinyl, I'll need some to hand out to clubs and one for myself....that's just throwing money away when it can get played on MP3 and it doesn't cost me anything.

Aye vinyl is well expensive compared to CDs. Best giving them out in .cda format though
