Well ok.........Most women, listen to pop britney and co. Most cant handel Hardcore and find it annoying! dont ask why i simply think its kewl. But when I look at the peeps who like hardcore they neva get married???? Is this a pattern or wot???? i do have one girlfriend who loves hhc and isnt a tomboy (and is quite fit)(not that it matters) and she is a dj and shes so much better than me

fisrt off YES I AM FEMALE!!!!,.........AND.....i have a comment about the whole hardcore and married bit...well, my friend and one of the greatest hardcore djs around is married!!.....there are others....most of them are not single either..so ....yeah!!...AND....i must say if we are talking about hardcore...you better mean hardcore and not only happy...*giggle*...cuz i LOVE that yummy noisy loud stompy bangy anything-but-happy- hardcore as well..hahah....and i love happycore..so go figure...im nutty!..:P...AND I HATE THAT POP CRAP!!!..haha and look at my pictures in my profile.,...i dont think imma tomboy....but we do lack girlie hapdcore infact if things go as planned...i should be one of the only girlie haprdcore dj in the city that actually plays out....:/....but in the croud...if you look and see during a happycore set there are more 14 year old girls then anything.....that kinda makes me mad cuz they look at the dj like hes a backstreetboy.....HAHAHAHAHHa...its a lil sad...and i hate it...haha...i think that concludes my comment!!! *giggle*

as far as more girls than guys... i think it often depends on the party.... i guess all in all there's more guys, but i never noticed... (no i'm not more focused on the girls i swear..... that wasn't sarcastic, i'm usually more focused on the music, lol)
i've had tapes (yes.. my car has a tape player, boy i need money).... of happycore in my car lately.. just a couple, and i pop in happy to be hardcore chapter 4 i think is in there *thinks* whateva... anyhoo when i'm driving ppl back, and i've had a couple gals who liked it... i think it's that alota these peeps haven't heard the stuff before, male or female

i think it depends where you are really... here atleast, all the guys are infront of the speakers or over by the decks watching the djs spin while the people out there are about 70% girls and the rest guys. the surrounding e-piles and people sitting down are split if not sightly more girls cuz they are taking care of the wacked out ravers. where i am most ravers are infact girls... maybe it's a stateside thing?

ohhhh i know.. i remember once wanting to learn the guitar.. wasn't good raight away so i quit!..... but.... i'm fully aware that DJing will take time....
but i think it's something i'd really truly love to try.....and... really it's not even about spinning at clubs/parties.... i just wanna have a set in my house.. so i can chill out down here... and practice... and spin.. i think it'd be.... sorta theraputic in it's own up tempo sorta way ;)
hehe.. not that i'm stressed or anything.. just saying, i think it'd be a fun way to waste my time ;)
ah well... will be ages before i have any moneh anyhoo ;)
money enough for vinyl (sooner).... money enough for decks (much later)
i've been p ondering.. when saving for decks... will i wanna not wait as long... and purchase some mid range types... or would i wait for a long ass time and purchase some spiffy technics or something.. oh decisions

hey annex.
I just got some decks pretty much free from my bfriend. They are old quite shite decks, but i chose to do that instead of finding new ones, as I am not sure if this whole "i want to learn how to spin" might just be a phase. I have liked the music for years, but what if I decide it isn't for me and have spent hundreds of pounds? If you know a lot of people that do spin, do what I did, see if you can borrow/be given decks, speakers, amp, mixer etc...I managed to get everything (except headphones) for £40 ($60). I was surprised to see how many of my friends had old stuff just lying around.
Still i can't actually afford to buy many records though.
If you really KNOW you would like to spin, then everyone I have talked to say that you should buy good decks straigh away, buy them on credit or something.
