Jaide I haven't seen happy hardcore go in fads...what I have seen is the rave scene kinda go in waves...for a while it will be really popular, then suddenly it will slowly tone down for a long period of time..then gradually pick back up..that's what i've seen here (St.Louis, and other midwesternish cities) atleast....but as far as happy hardcore goes..it's either people like it, or they hate it...i haven't seen much of a inbetween around here...just when people that love it leave the scene it looks like it's not as popular untill newbie's jump in and kinda bring attention to it...it's like a cycle I guess you could say...but i dunno about a fad?..maybe i'm wrong?..

virus i've played in pittsburgh twice, and am doing so this weekend as well..

and spree & cloudskipper were in ohio this past weekend..

DJ Pathfinder could you tape your set virus for the people overseas :)

You can't see me,because i am the future.
Elysium Well, at least you don't have to drive through half of Europe to find a happycore-event. Sweden's all about r&b and psytrance. GAH.

skies2049 I wish that there were more hhc events up here.
It would be sooooo cool!

why are there some events in ohio anyway i mean its cool because i live there but any type of electronic music is not big around here!

just dance........
virus skies: check out americancheese.org for hardcore parties in the ohio area..

pathfinder: hopefully it will be recorded :)

Don Giovanni I already mentioned this on another post but here in Winnipeg same problem l8y. We used to always have at least one happyhardcore set at every other party or even some trancecore maybe, with the odd happyhardcore based party here n there. but since january not a single happycore set at a party :(

So what am i doing, trying to start my own production crew and get some small parties going. Majour issue for me is the lack of money right now though, but i'm looking into things.

If u want things to change get together with people with the same passions as u and work towards change. IF u do your reaseach, plan it all out and take your time (provided u have some money) u could thow some smaller scale happycore events to get the ball rolling. IMO the vibe at small parties is often a lot tighter usually anyways.
