djyogi hey ive come across an interesting fact which doesnt make any sense to me, some people refer happy hardcore to rave music and they also refer hardcore to rave music as well. Whats the story and also ive come across actual rave music as a genre, which is quite shit - thats just my opinion, is this music played anywhere or do many people listen to it????

sammypoohuk I think different ppl use "rave" for all the different genres of dances music.......One of my m8`s use rave as songs like PPK "Resurection"!!

..SaMmY..
MC RizlaDizla the main reason is coz hardcore or happy hardcore is played mainly at raves.

most ppl are not into this music so they just generalise it as rave.

i fink

"Oh my goodness, Oh my Gosh. Here we go with a badboy rush."
"Oh my goodness gracious me, Badboy Dj, Wikkid Mc."
virus its just the same as when we would use the term "rock" to classify many genre's in the rock scene..

manic As has been expressed, happyhard and hardcore mainly get played at raves and in the homes of all happyhard and hardcore DJs. But apart from that you don't here it elsewhere. You may here it in some clothing stores every now and then, but, this is rare. Its appeal is mainly to ravers, so I guess that is why it gets its tag, which is from non-ravers or those who are just knew to the scene.

" Hardcore is a feeling, not a fashion" DJ Scott Brown

I was sent to outer space to find another happy place. Now i'm left here all alone, a million miles away from home.
HaPPy i LuV Da HaRdCorE Rave music = music played at raves which is Happy Hardcore and Hardcore.
Ignorant people out there who dont listen to this style of music and cant tell the difference between any form of dance music, to them it its hard and fast its "rave music".
