Mc Joyrider I wondered if anybody knows if the vocals on tracks like Ravers Choice 8 and other rip(re-imagining tunes ) are lifted off the originals or performed by sound a likes. Im thinking of the Oceans Apart rip which sounds like Richard Marks and especailly the Hey Jude track which I personally love if only to piss off those indie freaks etc who are into real music (AKA tone deaf krusties playing two chords on a guitar and wearing anoraks!) Anyone know the answer?

DJ_Solstice there are a lot of hardcore tunes out there with lifted vocals, and yes, oceans apart has lifted vocals, so does, techno wonderland (apparantly), also hey jude (the original was made by the beatles) not too sure about ravers choice 8 tho. but on the other hand there are far more tunes coming out with original vocals on - well to the best of my knowledge anyway! (yes i know there are still hardcore coming out with lifted vocals, like the nu kosheen one)

"Horns Crew Dont Stop! Whistle Posse Pump It Up!!"
Phayze Speaking of Hey Jude, I'm wondering what label i can find it on. That and the No doubt- Don't Speak cover

[Phayze]

Mc Joyrider What i meant is are the vocals sung by a new singer or by richard marks, john lnnon, Bon Jovi etc?

djdskys i think youll find that all the tunes mentioned are ripped rather than resung :)

Theres another version with resung lyrics: Without A doubt - No doubt
I'm pretty sure it's the one fenix plays where the lyrics are "You and me, we used to rave together......"

"Well it just goes on and on and you don't stop, party people winding up and keep on going til you drop YEAH!"
