Mortis Finally got around to making a new mix yesterday. Edited the .cue sheet today and uploaded it for you all to enjoy (I hope). I had to edit some tracks so it would fit on a CD, I was enjoying myself too much and it ran over by about 20 minutes - hence the fade out at the end...I had to cut off a Nosferatu track

It's a 3 deck mix (one vinyl and two CD) of tracks ranging from about 2003 - 2006. It's got some classics in it if I do say so myself.

Links can be found here: http://www.wix.com/frisson666/mortiscore

They include soundcloud stream and link to 320kbps split track rar.

Tracklist is up on soundcloud.

I hope you all enjoy and feedback is welcome as always.
JayHH86 Certainly does have some classics in it. Scott Brown - Call My Name is such a sexual song. Not included in mixes anywhere near enough!

Downloading now Stu. Expecting big things.
Mortis Hope you enjoy my dodgy mixing

Any other takers?
JayHH86 Mate, that was POWERFUL. I went for a walk around Kuala Lumpur's city centre this evening and had it on on my iPod. Immense. Really nicely balanced mix. Being a vocal whore, I obviously loved the middle section. It's not terrible or anything, but I suspect you might be disappointed with your mix into Call My Name? Other than that, sounded pretty faultless to me man. Good work, Stu.

Mortis Thanks Jay.

Some of the transitions weren't as good as I'd have liked, the mix into Call My Name was done on the vinyl and I'm a little out of practice on them. I've had a bit of a nightmare with my decks of late. One CD deck went down and I've not been able to mix anything on the vinyl for weeks. I'd attempted this mix earlier but couldn't get it done. So I had a bit of a play around with the CD deck and fixed it!! Yey. So it was kind of a rushed mix all in all. One problem with having so much vinyl is that it's hard to get a tracklist together, I want to play everything I see but sometimes I have to rush a transition because I'm digging into the records
Warnman Listend to it until now. Never caught myself before raving around for at least 1h. Got kind of confused to the added kicks during the break phase of DJ Kurt's "Rock You Hardcore" (don't know, if you did that).

Probably wouldn't have noticed the mixing disturbance, Jay posted. But I have listened to a lot of worse transitions.

Great thanks for this great workout!
djDMS Some serious anthemage there mate!

Fantastic mix, fantastic tunes. Seriously want to start mixing again after that!

Haha thanks. The added kicks where my work, I just brought Takin' My Time in during the breakdown and cut it in and out of Rock You Hardcore.

Cheers Dean. I for one think you should get back on the decks. I'd love to hear some new DMS mixes.
Ionosphere ....maybe I'm tired, or thick but

how do you download it?
Mortis http://www.filefactory.com/file/b54bb5e/n/Mortis_-_Early_Naughties_Mix.rar

or

Ionosphere yeh, I got that bit but couldn't find where, on a screen full of ads and stuff about download speed etc, the link to get your mix.... so I've presumed that I'm just thick. :-/
Mortis Scroll down and you'll find a box that says "download now" just hit that and enter the code. Scroll down on the next screen and wait until the timer counts down.
Ionosphere aha! Got it at last. Thank you kindly mate. btw, we usually find that http://www.sendspace.com is easier for dim people to use. 8:]
Mortis I was trying to find a faster upload server than 4shared but it didn't work out that way. I think in future I will stick with what I know.

JayHH86 Just listened to this again tonight, after a few G&T's (actually, about half a litre of Gin). Sick mix.
Mortis Thanks again Jay
