Hey everyone, I haven't been very active because I'm trying to cool off the forums and so on, but in the meantime I have been working on what I'm pretty sure is the cheesiest happy hardcore mix, ever:

This was a PAIN in the arse to make, I called it a mixtape because some of it isn't really mixed, the reason being that most of these songs are radio edits and CD cuts because many don't have extended DJ-friendly versions and the ones that do are just ridiculously difficult to get hold of. The mixing isn't smooth by any means but I just wanted to make as cheesy a mix as possible for my iPod.
In short: it's fun, it's cheesy (VERY cheesy) and isn't to be taken too seriously. But I will say that I LOVE this happy hardcore, this is actually my favorite kind so the mix is quite meaningful to me =)
WARNING: I know I mentioned it, but it is VERY cheesy. Some of you may not be able to make it through the whole thing, if you think it starts cheesy, wait til you get to the 1 hour mark; that's when the real cheddar sets in big time.

Oh yeah, finally...I already thought someone put you into the hand luggage and traveled to HTID in the sun.
I can't wait to give it a listen and really need to force myself keeping the hands above the blanket.

thank you for refreshing my memories! I also think the mixing is pretty darn decent given these old tracks often have impossible structures and whack mastering issues.

Thanks for the kind words guys :D glad some of you enjoyed it (I didn't expect anybody to tbh!), I have another cheesey mix coming soon but it won't be as cheesy as this one. Sorry for the influx of cheese, upfront business and even some psytrance after I've done the next one!
Thanks for the compliment MAtRiCks haha I'm glad you know, it was so much effort trying to work out which bits to loop and for how long and so on to make the whole thing good enough to upload, and at the end I didn't wanna miss the extended intros so I just played one after the other.

Relistening to this one atm and thought it needs a bump. It simply is one and a half hour of pure fun and joy.
I really would like to rave around with a lot of you to this kind of Hardcore style. I doubt any kind of drug abuse can add such a smile to my face.  |
