Icewind Hi all. Long time lurker of this site. I just finished up this track and thought I'd share it with you guys. It's not quite like my other work, but I thought I'd try to keep things fresh with a 4 to the floor type feel. Hope you guys enjoy.

electrogen It sounds dated and way to thin for me. Too much toytown snare too. Some good ideas in there and structire wise is good but too thin.
Icewind When you say toy town snare, are you referring to the chopped up amen breaks? I was not going for a modern sound, I am not trying to keep up with the hardcore of today. If you check out my other tracks, that are all heavily chopped up jungle...
electrogen No toytown snare is the snare used in the classic hardcore tune "toytown"
Icewind Yes I am familiar with toy town, it is one of the most popular hardcore tracks of all time. The snare you are referring to IS from the amen break beat...lol. It's the only snare I'm using.

It's obvious you're not his key audience. You've might not been on this forum for long either electrogen, but must of us still prefer the older sounds
electrogen Now now just giving my opinion. That is aloud isnt it?

Oh sorry then. It didnt come out as a opinion though.
Icewind No worries, guys. I appreciate the feedback and thanks for the listen!
Moriens Well on a positive note. During the breaks I really like the sense of space to be honest makes me kinda drift =)

Cheers!
