I hear a lot of members here into Trance and all that but I don't often hear much talk about Underground Hard Techno scene. around 1997 onwards, I started listening to a lot of Underground Techno sounds from the likes of DJ Vic on Sydney Radio 2SER 107.3FM . His show was called "Kaosillations" and featured amazing types of Techno tracks that were quite good to a certain extent.
anyone else like this style? check out http://www.swarm-industries.com/ if you're interested. cheers |

I actually love techno ... I'm probably one of the only people who manages to find inspiration for melodic hardcore tracks while listening to minimal drum based music.
Now I really love the label CLR. Mike Parker is from my city, and one of the best sets I've ever seen was Chris Liebing vs Speedy J at a club in Detroit. There's a lot of great stuff out there! 2 of my friends are Aerodromme, and they get a little techier/progressive, but you might enjoy their music as well. https://soundcloud.com/aerodromme |

People here don't often like Techno. It's not melodic enough. I love it personally, when it's the right kind. Less so hard stuff but that also has it's place (in much the same way i wouldn't normally listen to Gabber at home in a normal music listening situation). |

I honestly don't like regular techno, because it sounded so much like electro house at one point. But recently I have actually been enjoying hard techno for the last few months, and that's mostly been because of PetDuo. Their whole set at least year's Syndicate was pretty badass, as well as the one from Monegros when they brought on a 3rd person to create PetTrio.
If you can name me other djs similar to their style of mixing, I'd greatly appreciate it. |
