skankineddie666 Just announced by gammer on Facebook. More than likely to come out on hardcore underground. He's asking everyone what they would like to hear on the album. Any thoughts?
djscavenger some nice vocals cheese
Gazza1712 Was there many releases on muffin? Like enough to do an albums worth?
I have always thought 90 per cent of gammers solo work was pants, works better with other people
djscavenger not that many, must admit they did'nt float my boat
Mickey Init "It Will Be Alright" was/is such a brilliant tune - great vocals and really well produced.

Re: the album. I suppose having 4 CDs of - a combination of - released and unreleased (solo) material would be the way forward... CD1: UK Hardcore/CD2: Freeform/CD3: Remixes/CD4: A DJ mix of tunes (but not necessarily tunes from CDs 1-3 or made by Gammer) done using CDJs and turntables rather than a sequencer. I suppose all that would best represent Gammer as an artist.

I agree that he's much better working with other artists, but I'd stop short of saying his solo stuff is pants. He's made a lot of good tunes on his own imo.
latininxtc Looking forward to this. Hopefully he's got some stuff in store that will be exclusive to the album, or at least wait a good amount of time after the album is out before releasing it digitally.

Unless it's his Freeform stuff, they usually work very well.

Sounds good! A few new Freeform tracks would be great, definitely.

I didn't see the original post. Did he say he'd be writing new material for this?

djDMS He didn't say much, just asked what everybody thought.
skankineddie666 It appears he's just asking his fans what they would like to see on the album as far as what kind of music (Remixes,Bootlegs,New Material etc..) I would kill for some of his older stuff and some new freeform.

Porn Kings Vs. DJ Supreme - Up To Da Wildstyle (Gammer & Andy Whitby Remix)

Is long over due for a full release and this track alone would make me buy the album!
latininxtc well if he really wants to do bootlegs he might have to go about releasing it all on his own. I don't see HU taking that risk to release a bootleg at the legal expense of the label. Could definitely cause some major problems among the much larger music companies.

But either way, definitely no bootlegs. Either a good mixture of new material, along with some of his unreleased stuff, and just a handful of remixes will be fine. But definitely want the most of the bulk to be new material and unreleased material.

Speaking of Gammer bootlegs - has anyone got the Band Camp link for that track that he made with the big Kanye sample, ("Can we get much higher").

I had a look earlier but cannie find it.

djDMS Never knew it got a release. Another one i must have missed!
_Jay_

Yeah, he stuck it on Band Camp - along with another track - about 6-9 months ago.

I were gonna say I thought it was much more recent then that. Just checked and it was September last year!
Bad Corey Yeah it was released as Gamridye - Because Kanye EP. It was three tracks: two versions of Dark Fantasy ("can we get much higher" track), and Reezus, another decent Kanye-based track. Pretty good EP imo.

Back to the topic, I commented on his Facebook post that I'd like to see a proper volume remaster of his This Is How We Do It remix, as the one on beatport is really really quiet, and he liked my comment, so maybe that will happen. :D

Yes! That was it. Thanks a lot man. :-)

eddiewould The power within - such an amazing track!
Disguize I for one would absolutely LOVE to see Gammer & Andy Whitby's Remix of Up To Da Wildstyle, even though it is pretty much the same as Higher State of Consciousness minus the vocals, and also Bassik. I know this was available for a short while but I missed my chance to grab it :(
