The guy has never made a bad tune (IMO) - the Pizza Man remix has to be viewed as tongue-in-cheek.
What's the best tune he's ever made (collab or solo)?
versia
Bang 9 is the only answer.
Ikstra
Claim 2 Recycle - One of the first Re-Con tracks I heard, never gets old.
HollowRipper
Discolights. Horrific.

Edit: i was trying to say that's a bad one btw.
There's loads of goodens, but probably God's Child and Sy and Recon Meatfeast are my faves.
The drunken scotsman
Too many to mention. Loved his remix of digital lover by Sy & unknown and more recently his remix of Lana Del Ray's Summertime Sadness.
Although for all time it has to be either I adore or never too late, using the Clear Vu alias
Kebab Head
not hardcore but bounce and probably one of the best tunes he's been involved with and by far ultrabeats best
even better than the force n styles happy hardcore original
Samination
Rock Da Crowd is definitly a favorite of mine
latininxtc
This one is definitely one of my absolute favorites from him. Apparently Squad-E had a hand in the track, but who knows lol

You never heard Save The Rave or Beating of a Drum. :P
My faves are...
The Sun
Styles feat Lisa Abbott - Getting Better remix
Styles & Ultrabeat - Paradise & Dreams remix
Re-con & Fluxx - Free Again
Danny Byrd - We Can Have It All remix
Styles & Re-con - Sober
Re-con & Demand - I'm Sorry
Re-con & Demand - Like A Rainbow
B.S.C Project - Promised Land remix
Ian van Dahl - Inspiration remix
Can't narrow it down... :P They're too good!

I know some people didn't like those tracks but I did. There was also Report To The Bassline that some people found cringeworthy, but I liked all 3 of those. Certainly a bit quirkier than the stuff that was currently coming out at that time, but that's one of the reasons why I really liked those tracks.

Yep. Second Beating Of The Drum. Big and under-appreciated tune imo!
Massively underrated tune. From the same period of time- 'Pull over' and 'We can do this' w/ hixxy. They don't make hardcore like that anymore.
I remember hearing Pull Over for the first time, Hardcore Heaven about 2005. Blew me away just how bouncy the dancefloor went. I've loved that tune ever since. Sadly, later I found out it was a cover or someone else's song. Shame, but still a great hardcore tune.
Alot of Re-Cons tunes from that time where covers or remixes of older tunes but he did them in such a way as to make them original, Enjoy, We Can Do This, Cry, Pull Over.
I'll just leave this one here:
Also, Report to the Bassline was terrible and Re-con has made a load of shit tunes imo but he has made some really good ones.

Off topic slighty, but I thought Gammer's update of that was really good.

Yes I have very find memories of pull over. Was one of my favourite tunes to hear at a rave, as the dance floor always went mental when it was played. For some reason I didn't like it as much for casual listening.
Never too late is one of my favourite all time tunes. I remember hearing it at an Htid event in Birmingham for the first time, got the tape pack from the event and used to play and rewind constantly. Used to think the lyrics were 'slam it to the left' until it featured on CLXH 2 lol.
Notable mentions to re-cons remixes of 'still the one' and bimbo jones 'come fly with me'. Both excellent tunes.
Mortis
Come fly with me was a great remix but Still the One wasn't imo.

I love it!
Forgot to mention, "Hardcore DJ (Re-con Remix)" is absolutely shockingly terrible too. Not sure which one is worse - that or Save The Rave. Did he pay the DJs to put it on the Clubland albums or how'd they end up there!?
Jacco
Starman - Do It Over (Re-Con Remix)
Never understood why there is a remix but no original but still, awesome track.

I prefer this version
Darren Hotchkiss & Mark Sloan - Doing It Over (Steven Davidson remix)
Mickey Init
"What The F**k"
Now Playing - what a belter!
Mickey Init
Also, One Republic - "If I Lose Myself (Re-Con Remix)"
Ive never faulted the guy for his work in the past, he hit the scene with some great tracks:
"free again"
"rock da crowd"
"never too late remix"
"come fly with me remix"
"close to you remix"
"enjoy"
Its safe to say the guy has earned his place in the scene, ofcorse hes made some absolute shite tunes but thats something the majority of artists have done.
When i first heard Enjoy it bloew my mind, i even turned my own remix out ;) no where near as good but was just to show how much i loved it!
