DjZelous im having some intense back pain when im djing for over 2 hours. i have to sit a little bit and sometimes take an advil. what do you guys recomend. possably lower/ lift my table?
djchexmixer Definitely position your equipment to what is most comfortable for you. There definitely should be no "intense back pain" when DJing just for two hours.

Should be similar to using a standing desk, your back should be straight. Look up "ergonomics" on standing desks.

Are you hunched over? If so raise it up! Raise the roof!
silver Decks should be about the height of a bar, if they are not you can't be hunched over it for 2 hours :)

Consider yourself lucky you don't have to haul 45 pounds (20 kilos) of vinyl around as well these days :)
Claxton Yea.. It sounds like you either have back problems or your decks are far too low.

On a side note... Has anyone ever tried DJing sat down? What a dull experience it is haa
djDMS I used to do it sat on the floor years ago when i didn't have a table to put my decks on, very strange feeling indeed!
Mortis Dibs on the name "DJ Back Pain".
The Dopeman thanks to virtual dj i don't really have that problem i can do a mix lying in bed lol
djDMS DJ Scoliosis
latininxtc You should probably do some stretching exercises before, or maybe yoga lol. I know it sounds odd but I think it will help.

And I know someone who would DJ while sitting in a chair. Yes it's a dull experience but he's like 6'5" and it is a killer on his back to stand everywhere he DJs.

Yea, I have..... it is a very dull experience. The blood isn't flowing properly, can't move the music as easily, :P

Audio Warfare Definitely sounds like you need a higher desk.
