at ?15 with a bundle option to get this and Lethal Theory Classics Vol 1. for ?21.50

I have been waiting on a few of these tunes, I turn to you, Rock ya hardcore 2014, Keep it lethal amongst many others. Will put in my pre-order on pay day a few days before release, looks like a really solid release and I have a feeling it'll be more varied than 'This is Powerstomp'.
CDJay One of the most active and hard working labels in the scene, already capably showcased on the Rehab project, releasing yet another unmixed content dump with a carefully caressed DJ mix.

Meow.

CDJay
arpz There's 34 tunes here for ?15 meaning it's less than 45p per tune, plus a mix. Plus physical.

I don't know how anyone can say the digital model is better
arpz Potential misprint warning (?)

05. Make It Loud - Lady Dubbz

This is the opposite way round, just in case this TL is used for anything more important...
djDMS Looks really good, miles better than the first one

I agree, I was truly disappointed at powerstomp. I know it's a focus on just that one style, but I got sick of it after a couple of listens.
skankineddie666 Looks good and all but..... Where is Happy Hardcore Underground??
CDJay Next.

CDJay
Vladel The first album was horrendous full of bland boring shit to be honest and lethal theory seemed just to be knocking out crap tunes for the hell of it. After that they made Powerstomp and the album followed up by no sweat (which were both excellent whether that is due to working with HU or not god knows). The Joey Riot vs Alex prospect mix on Rehab combined with some of Kurts recent releases speaks volumes for their product. They are on such incredible form at the moment, i can buy this one with no reservations what so ever....

Looking forward to it.
Mansy Ive been after 'falling in love' for months. Ill buy this just for that :D
Samination 17 tracks per CD? sounds like radio editions (or they are all ~4:40 long)
CDJay If you pay attention the the average length of most tracks in genre, at this point, it's not that surprising.

CDJay
Vladel Are we expecting this one to be on time? Really looking forward to it.
Mickey Init Pre-ordered this.

I, too, am after 'Falling In Love'. Good blend of tunes on this album, though!

Hope we get Happy Hardcore Underground plus one more album before Christmas.

I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say the artist album is the long awaited Sharkey album and the label album would be Hardcore Underground breaks 2 (wishful thinking) or another lethal theory powerstomp album.
arpz I found this on IYF's soundcloud -

Vladel When is this turning up
CDJay Shipped today, should arrive Wednesday.

CDJay
Vladel Ok i got mine today and i'm ready to give an opinion on the thing. First off i would say it's a lot better than the first one they made. It would have been quite an achievement to be worst than the first one to be honest. I'll start with disk 1.

The good:

Joey riot - turn to you is a pretty good sort of light powerstompy vocal number with a familiar chart vocal that works quite well.
Kurt - kick it HU Vip...... Well the kick it Kurt did on this is powerstomp was one of my favorite tracks on there and at first i thought here we go it's the same remix but then, here i am kicks in and i was kinda confused. It all kind of works well until 1min 20 and you get the kick it breakdown with the here i am lyrics and i don't like the blend at all. The rest of the tune is good but i massively wish he'd kept the remixes separate and did two tracks instead because the foundation for here i am is really impressive.
Everything we need and it's you are both pretty good light vocal tunes from joey riot which are definitely worth a listen
Kurt - Space odyssey 2014 is utterly banging and my pick of the disk but then i have liked all the previous versions as well. Kurt is on fire these days.

The bad:
There's not a lot really besides some lackluster MOB tunes (they need to be stronger) and some of the other stuff is a bit bland but it's not a car crash. Disk 2 however...........

The good:
Kurt - like a dream hmmmm bouncy good, heavy kick good, vocal good, just something missing from making it more complete but maybe it's a grower.
Joey Riot - hold me tonight. Vocal powerstomp i definitely like and Joey is doing a good job. Track is a little short though.
Rock you hardcore 2014, Unstoppable and keep it lethal are also worth mentioning as highlights.

The bad:
There's a bit more bad on the disk but most of it (MOB) isn't horrendous apart from one utterly horrid piece of well i wouldn't like to use the word music by the great track wrecker unknown. I had to mention it on joeys facebook and i know a lot of people may not like the original riot in the klub but as far as i'm concerned it's a grower. Now what Unknown done to that track is beyond words. It's almost as horrific as what S3rl did to airhead (ie took a really good track and utterly F****D it to the point of it almost being terrorism) Harsh sounding i know but there really should be a law against these sort of people.

So summing up........ Good Lethal theory, Good Hardcore underground, BAD UNKNOWN!!! Please stop ruining music.

Made me chuckle.

I also gave it a blast today (although, I always go for the mixed CD to start off with when they're released in this 2+1 format) and think it's pretty good. It, unfortunately, is very soon due to be superseded by HHU so we need to make the most of this album whilst we can.

I wouldn't say 'no' to another Lethal Theory/Powerstomp album before Christmas.

trippnface which album/tracklist was the predecessor to this hardcore innovators 2? when i try to find it; it looks like there are 3 volumes of hardcore innovators; kinda confusing lol
Vladel yeah it was supposed to be a three mix/disc sort of effort but ended up getting released digitally one at a time so technically all three were volume 1
Captain Triceps There was also an album called Hardcore Innovators from the late 90s. Unmixed disc of freeform classics and an Energy mix, pretty decent.
trippnface hell ya ; confused no more ! thanks guys
djDMS This is a pretty nice album.

Good mixture of Powerstomp, 'normal' Hardcore....and stuff i don't like much.

30 odd tracks, and a mix make it a bit of a bargain :-)
Mansy Im only about halfway through the mix cd and im enjoying it alot more than i thought i would. Mob & enermy feat cara lee - falling in love is a anthem!!

Yes best tune I've heard in a while and the first time I've ever liked a MOB tune. 10/10. Album is great as well much better than this is powerstomp.
trippnface thought this was absolutely horrible.
over 80% the music is really really bad powerstomp.
...it's called hardcore innovators....and they already have a series specifically for powerstomp. confused
so many bland tracks. MOB is pretty much the only one who even does any hardcore practically; and it is pretty sub par imo. best track on the album is never let you down...hold me tonight & suckin on my titties are ok remixes....
lady dubbz has some of the best UK hardcore tracks and all 4 tracks on these showcase nothing of her talent.
it's like normally good artists actually did worse for this album
totally disappointing. the mixing is ok; and haywire really hardly does any scratching....
would not recommend unless your a powerstomp junkie. the first volume is much much better

Firstly i disagree and secondly, you're wrong. I will explain of course: less than half the unmixed tracks are actually powerstomp and while they may not all be up to standard that doesn't constitute 80%, more like 50% or do you need a maths lesson? Anyhow the point you made about MOB and Lady Dubbz made me laugh because i found they really brought the album down, especially (not enough head for futureworld mob) although he does his best to sound like he should be in that all boys club.
You said bad powerstomp which is better than the knock off shite everyone (who isn't leathal theory is knocking out) although i will agree that most of it isn't the best powerstomp i have ever heard.
Kick it, turn to you, hold me tonight and keep it lethal are good but the rest is maybe sub standard but that doesn't constitute 80%. There's about 7or 8 good non powerstomp tracks on there far from anything Knob/Mob did of course but nevermind 11 out of 7 ain't bad, is that about 80%?

honestly i think 1 powerstomp track is too much. they have a series for powerstomp!

i agree lady dubbz & MOB bring the album down; that is what i said. i meant dubbz has good tracks...not on here..
honestly the only powerstomp i like was that 1 M-project mix lol; which blows everything on this absolutely out of the water.he should show joey the ropes. why not just call this " this is powerstomp 2 " ..or something... with *some* (ok) hardcore. pretty bunk calling it hardcore innovators when even if you're right; half a ****ing album is half a ****ing album . of really slow; tedious sounding music...****; do some tribekore/hardtek or something ; at least it sounds like hardcore.
powerstomp is joey riots sneaky way of putting in trap and big room house sounds honestly.
even the mixing is pretty weak. i can burn a cd and just make the tracks roll into each other to the same effects of hix mixing at points...lazy.

hmm ugh .. kick it is cool... and space odyssey !
and ok i suck at math lol. i will claim it is more than half though

fighting about opinions though is a bit ridiculous; just my review ;)

15/34 = 44% ;)

That's not 80% powerstomp but you are right that it is over 50% that is powerstomp so on content of hardcore vs powerstomp we are probably quite close, although i was closer. If we look at the original points of the post which were not focused of percentage of powerstomp percentage we can look at Mob and Lady dubbz which i feel took up album space which is a place we differ however, that is down to taste moreso than content.
You said they already have a series for powerstomp. Well at only 66% powerstomp that would make it about the same ratio as hardcore on recent clubland hardcore albums against dumstep/drumstep etc.

this is the first i've heard of Lady Dubbz but maybe she didn't do what she was best as to perhaps contribute powerstomep to the album? dunno but i seriously doubt the lethal theory producers got together and decided to produce a load of shite for this album because it's a lot better than the first one.

Anyhow back to the powerstomp thing. It's not perfect but it's far cry from the big room crap you compared it to. If you consider branding and personal opinion (which in mos industries you would do) before making a purchase you gotta know that a Futureworld project would consist of mostly trendy dub core. A neophyte album would be hard dutch stuff and a fracus & darwin album would contain 90% crap and 10% gold. Again that is down to taste and people like different stuff but to buy a lethal theory album and be upset at 50% or more powerstomp, (which is the sound they are pushing), well that's just silly.

true enough i suppose i should've expected it. if it was breakbeat i would not be bitching; guess i'm genre - ist lol. oh well lesson learned . good thing i got HHU as well ;)

that entity album will fulfill my dreams fully though!
