100% my personal favourite.

http://www.discogs.com/Scott-Brown-Gillian-Tennant-Everytime-I-Close-My-Eyes-Elysium/release/105567

Anyone agree? What would you say is better?

djchexmixer I have this one on vinyl... spun it countless times. Both songs are absolutely classics and right up there in my all time favorite songs.

I'll have to think about it being the greatest release, for now I'll agree, heh. Both sides of that record are mm mm good.

Another favorite of mine:
http://www.discogs.com/Stealth-Flower-Needs-The-Rain/release/148556
Two fun fun remixes with plenty of samples.

latininxtc Definitely a different take on greatest track ever! I'd say that's definitely one of the greatest releases ever, even though neither track are my all-time favorite, but Elysium is definitely in my top 10.

Triquatra I really want to make a dirty joke about this being "really hard" and then maybe another one about "greatest releases"
Raging somewhat agree i prefer Elysium (I Go Crazy) (extended mix) at about 180bpm with the low end ramped up,ever since i heard it in a dj bluecore mix all those years ago ahh candyshop those where the days

I also have it on vinyl, despite not having turntables!

Yes, I know! Hence why I called the thread Greatest Release Ever? and not Greatest Track Ever?

I was so tight for time mate - I would have squeezed them in myself otherwise!

Samination To be honest, I actuallye hated Everytime for a long time (overplayed it like mad when I got Happy2bHardcore chapter 3/4).

But when I bought the digital copy, I started to love it again :) But greastest? not there yet :P
djDMS Totally disagree.

Come back with a better suggestion silly bollocks.

Not bad. But, for me, it'd be this...

(Every Time I Close My Eyes is better than Elysium, though, which is still great.)
Thumpa This was pretty huge when it came out

Exceptional man. I do prefer the original All About You, but still - very, very powerful release.

Ken Masters Time & time again ive tried to pick one but its near impossible.

However, Scott Brown - Life As We Know It will always be one of my favourites, that piano! The man has magical fingers!

Scott has lots of tracks like that, I recently re-discovered This is Hardcore as he re-released loads of Evo Plus stuff. Top tune!

I like that one a lot aswell! it was the B side to Heaven in Your Eyes, another of my favourites that I don't ever see anyone talking about

a lot of strong releases from SB, I wouldn't be surprised this thread became "what are the best evolution releases" haha

Yes, there's no doubt about it, the man is a machine!

Although I heard his ponytail handles all the writing, he's just the face of it all.

Do you mean a machine in a good way, or a bad way? Because even the legendary Scotsman has his share of rotten cheese :P

When has anyone ever used the word 'machine' to mean something bad?

When someone uses it to describe a person's lack of personality.

It still conveys strength and reliability. Very powerful traits.

That possibly doesn't translate well outside Scotland, bit like myself really.
