Ken Masters Hi guys, I want to bring to your attention a brand new, free, mixed/unmixed Hardcore album series that I run alongside our PPF projects.

It's called Future State Hardcore.

Some of you may be familiar with FSH Vol 1 which was released in Jan of this year & has been a huge success (If not you can download for free at foot of thread). The concept of the album (& the Future State label in general), is to bridge the gap between the up & coming talent & the top tier. Provide a platform in an otherwise close-knit scene, allowing new talent to get themselves out there while rubbing shoulders with more established names in the scene.

I'm looking for producers of all levels to get involved! All successful track submissions will receive full professional mastering with fee's covered by myself, which will ensure they reach their full potential. This provides an opportunity for more inexperienced producers to get involved & see their ideas finished to a professional standard.

My concept for Vol 2 is slightly different than Vol 1. Simply put,

- I want to bring the Hardcore world together, offering the listeners a glimpse into an otherwise alien Hardcore scene.

- I wan't some kid sat in his bedroom in the US to experience how the ravers do things in Japan.

- I wan't to give veteran UK ravers a sense of just how widespread the UK Hardcore scene has become in recent years buy showing them how the Aussie's do things!

- Creating a foundation which will unite the scenes & project a vision of Hardcore's future state.

- Each mix/country backed up with write ups, interviews, event & area images & short video footage to help explain the history & future each scene holds.

I know it can seem a lot to ask for producers to submit their original tracks to something that will give them no financial return. But if you put that to one side & think of the sheer magnitude & potential of a project like this, it promotion on a monumental scale! It's strength in numbers, with everyone working together to promote in their part of the world which let's everyone experience something new, different & best of all, free!

Think about it, someone in Australia want's to hear an exclusive album mix from Sc@r & Haze so off the back of their promotion they download the album, & in doing so receive another 5 mixes & around 15 unmixed tracks. Music that they would possibly never have thought of checking out. Tying the scenes together & promoting new talent.

Say someone in the UK want's the exclusive, unmixed Fracus & Darwin track that features. They download for free. They're happy. but even happier when they realise they have more top quality unmixed music from names that they've never heard before! Giving an up & coming producer in Japan or the US an avenue to showcase their music in the UK & gain new fans & support.

This album is not created for financial gain. It exists to unite the scene. It exists for the love of the music. It exists to give people opportunities to promote themselves & their scenes on an international scale.

Get involved people. You won't regret it.

Thanks man, I appreciate the support :) I've had you guys in mind for a future mix tbh, if you're up for it?

Myself & skinny try our best to feature the majority of tracks on our mix on the unmixed disc. If you guys think you may have unmixed material to put forward let me know. All unmixed tracks are clearly tagged with label info to ensure the labels are promoted while tracks are used beyond the scope of the album :)
Mansy This looks good!! What format you wanting submissions to be? Full Unmasterd wav?

Yes mate, that'd be best :)
Ken Masters With such a varied line up, we'll be looking feature a real variety of styles throughout the unmixed disc also, so we're open to checking out all kinds of styles & sounds. The more out there & experimental the better really :)
djchexmixer Very cool! Been enjoying the series, great stuff.

Yeah that'd be sick. :D Hit me up for the next one!

Usually I prefer keeping the unmixed tracks exclusive to the albums they're on but I guess you can include them on your unmixed disc if you want it to correlate with the mixed disc. B)
