ViolonC Maybe someone here can help me. I wonder if there is a way to use the gater FX in Traktor to blank out the first half and let through the second part? Standard setup is the other way round.

My goal is to get an effect similar to sidechain compression on the track. I would guess if i mess up the beat grid (moving it on the off beat) this will work, but i hope there is a more elegant solution as this might mess up other FX on the track.
ViolonC No one with an idea? Or is it just that no one wants to admit using Traktor?
arpz No shame at all in using Traktor, I'll admit to it. I use a Kontrol S2 controller and I love it.

Unfortunately I don't know anything about the effects as I never actually use them.
ViolonC Same here. Mostly using the EQs, sometimes the filters mostly without resonance. The gater often does the trick when the rest fails and is easy to use to just add a little here and there. But at the end most of the Traktor FX sound bad anyway.

If someone got an idea for the problem this would be very helpful to mix tracks with bad matching keys without getting your ears bleeding. I have seen DJs going bonkers on the EQs turning them out and in every drum kick, but that only works with the right hardware i guess.
Guest i use traktor, there is no point wasting money on nexus cdj`s or xdj`s, with a crapper rekord box or traktor to use for ?3000

?260 good

NI forum are for thick twats, so proper feature requests dont get added, same with dj tech tools

can do all that tribal jizz with hardcore in traktor
