DjBillyJump Hey all just thought I'd post here for those that don't know of my work, I've been making hardcore for Trackmaster music for a year and a half now and I've always tried to create the sound I love which is the earlier uplifting riffy stuff, I know people still want this sound and I feel more and more people are getting back into it!
If you haven't heard my stuff yet please check it out and if you like it any comments, shares etc are very welcome, you may also want to check Trackmaster music's other artists as we all have similar tastes.
Enjoy :-)

Mortis When you say "older sounds" I hoping for a happy hardcore tune or something
DjBillyJump There are some happy hardcore influences on some of my tracks m8
Samination Of what I have heard (not much tbh), you don't really stick out that much. Your stuff fits with Trackmaster too well so I can't distinguish(?) it from Cruze or Darts
DjBillyJump You obviously don't have a very good ear then mate
Samination wow, 2 disses in one row. I might not particularly like ukhardcore for the past 8 years, but I can hear the difference between most camps/groups.
trippnface nice dude i started following you on soundcloud after i bought da bang on cds
defo like your stuff keeps it up!
cool view & don't stop i absolutely loved.
nice work man

the 2nd diss thing was actually refering to Billy's answerd to Mortis, but could also coincide with that other thread.

And I don't have anything against him. I had no intention of giving him crap by saying he sounds like the other TMM fellas. But it did not sit well with me when he said I don't have very good ears, just because I cant tell his stuff from other "with similar tastes". I guess listening to hardcore for 15 years has blinded/deafened me.
wong it really wasn't a 'diss' especially the reply to mortis

I've got no particular desire to get into this but I personally didn't see anything negative or "diss" like in what Billy said.
Hard2Get His reply to Mortis wasn't even remotely disrespectful. Your (Samination) first message to Billy was much more of a 'diss' than his was to you and he only typed it because of what you said! Lol. Maybe you didn't intend it to be but typing something like 'you don't really stick out that much' is quite insulting on a personal level. Even if it's true. Sometimes i think your use of English doesn't do you any favours lol.
DjBillyJump Thanks all who are enjoying the music and I wasn't having a go, also I've been into hardcore for 20 years and to be honest I really don't care what category it's under if I like a tune that's all that matters to me :-)
Vladel I think quite a lot of your stuff is really good.
Elliott It's always nice to see people still producing the good stuff. :)
Samination Well Matt you know my engrish is horrible :P

And here I thought you didn't like anything :P

And I'm sorry Billy if I thought your reply to Mortis was considered a diss and I got fueled by it. I've seen comments like that being written with irony on other places.

But I have to keep my 'azzholery' and say that you don't sound unique. But then that is true to most artists. Hell, Gammer sounded much like Scott Brown on a few of his solo tracks back in 2003. But I presume in the end that TMM uses the same mastering technician for all TMM tracks?
DJ D-Luc-D To be honest, I thought Billy's stuff stuck out a lot more because it was a lot bouncier than most UKHC artists, never mind just TMM artists, at least from the bits I've heard...

I've been paying attention to your stuff for several months (less so while I've been doing my GCSEs) and I've definitely enjoyed anything I've heard from you. My only gripe is the lyrics in the tracks with Rachel Robson, but that's just a taste thing I guess. :P

Keep doing your thing. :)

Wrong, we all do our own mastering.

Oh... But that's quite good I guess, considering how many top tier artists still struggle with that. Anyways, before I bloat the thread on my stupid subject, I'll stop posting unless I actually have any critizism to give.

You just don't stop, do you!
Smoogie Depends what you define as old. Some early 2000s might sound 'dated' now but modern compared to mid 90s which itself was ahead of the early 90s.
