DJ SMALOUM i know a producer of hungary who pretends 4 person bought a mix of him with unseparated tracks for 10 euros (webmix not cd). do you think it's true or it's just a big joke? personally i think it's hard to believe it
youngson It's easy to scam people, so yes probably.
warped_candykid Anabolic Frolic was a well known DJ/Promoter and made sales off his Happy2bHardcore ch. 8 mix that had no license to the artists on the mix. So ya, it's possible.
DJ_FunDaBounce 4 people, maybe. If it was 40, then I'd probably doubt it. I've made attempts at selling my own music person to person and, in my opinion, it's not that easy.
CDJay I had a loose bet with James F (of original Elation Recordings) that I couldn't sell 500 copies of RFUCD001.

I did, in well under a year. Person to person. Well, I say that, I mugged people at bars and left CDs. It worked. I won.

why are you accusing Anabolic Frolic of this? At least he tried to make HHC popular in the northern Hemisphere - (USA and Canada)
djDMS ....by passing unlicensed CD'S off as genuine releases.
CDJay Luckily, across the Atlantic where copious multinationals threw money at tv advertised compilations there weren't CD Packs and we all lived happily ever after.

Samination At one point I was actaully considering doing that. But for no profit (only the cost of postage and CD). Thank god my pirate insticts kicked in and said "free!!!" :P
