It's worth mentioning that not one instrument in the cover is real (so if you have advice on, say, humanizing it, I'm all ears).

I'm open to thoughts and critique.

trippnface cant get file to play ;( but that song is pretty sweet lol; i imagine a metal redo would sound like old children of bodom song or something. pretty melodic

Audio Warfare Sounds really nice man, I'd bring that lead guitar out in front of the mix a bit more but I really like this. Could easily see them using something like that in a new version of the game.

Something about it does definitely sound very digital though. I don't know if it's down to needing humanizing, the fact it's a game track and has that sound or a mixture of the two really! I don't listen and imagine that a band had recorded it. Good work though. :)
Josephson_Junction Thank you for the comments.

Do you mean reduce the stereo width on the guitar, or something more complex?

Agreed, and - not saying that I did this intentionally, I would have liked for it it to sound authentic! - I'm not alone in that regard:

I think the two main aspects I need to work on are mastering (making it sound like it was recorded in an actual studio) and humanizing.

I'd just like to see a revival of the classic Bomberman series in general, but sadly Hudson Soft was in a downward spiral throughout the noughties with the nail in the coffin for them being... their absorption into Konami. *ominous thunderclap*
