I remember seeing on a magazine cover something about "Trance & Bass". I never buy music mags as there's never hardly anything about hardcore (until recently in mixmag obviously).
What's the verdict on Trance & Bass then? Where can it be heard?

That may just be referring to the fact that a lot of drum and bass tracks lately have a definite "trance" influence to them.

john b came out with a mix cd called "trance 'n bass" that came free with mixmag a few months ago, had artists such as concord dawn, klute, cause 4 concern, and john b himself
and yes, brian.. you know about the disco house on 45! :)

yyeah i have this cd... the john b ones are really the only trancey ones, with maybe a couple others. many of the tracks on there are just dnb with synth lines/chords.... big deal! i think youcould create a much better fuion of trance & dnb, but that's just me.

I thought that CD blew. I only bought the mag cuz the CD sounded like it might be interesting, but it wasn't really.
