Dune wasn't really euro dance (lacked the MC). Or was it, I think it goes in the same bracket as Sequential One, Final Fantasy (not the game!!) and Sunbeam, and alot of stuff on that Pure Adrenaline 8 CD (old, old old!)

i think if dune come back it will most likely be doing euro/cheesetrance in a similar vein to scooter. i don't know why they'd do anything different...

have you heard the 2003 remix of rainbow to the stars?
and heaven?
they're both eurodance, and are way to sloooow for being hardcore... i think dune concentrates more on the money and on the new dance-charts than on the scene
(or maybe they have just gotten tired of hardcore and found the dance-style better... i dunno)
anyways, charly lownoise & mental theo have also made comebacks with starsplash... same deal there...
but! i can't wait until the remixes come out
hope they are as good as their old tunes ;)

Well Dune was very popular in the eurodance scene in the mid 90's, so if they are going to do eurodance, that would mean that they are doing the same type of music as always, and i doubt that its for money, coz nobody does eurodance these days... although theres still many eurodance fans out there... I think you have mixed up eurodance and eurotrance...
and for Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo they did Gabber, eurodance & happy hardcore in the mid 90's, now they are doing eurotrance... so basicly they have never done music in one genre...

I luv some of the early dune stuff. It's an old classic but "can't stop raving" got me raving. Whilst I want them to return, i've listened to rainbow to the stars 2003 and it's sooooooo slow!!! Perhaps I'm too used to hardcore now but it doesn't do it for me.
For those who are interested the new album is due out this autumn.
