T O P I C     R E V I E W DjZelous Im currently using ortofon om pro s cartridges, they sound great but they are a little weak on bass, what do you guys prefer? DJ_FunDaBounce Never really done a side by side comparison of cartridges, so I can't say what is better in which. I use Ortofon concorde S, though. Which were common among my circle of friends when I started mixing, so I've just maintained them. Gaz mace-E 1988 I've used quite a few over the years, personally I like using these, Shure M44G's, others prefer the M44-7's but for a cartridge and stylus that dies it all, good tracking force, amazing frequency response, good for scratching, mixing, and reduced record ware. As you can see I've got a few, Shure m44g's, Ortofon OM pro S's, and some Stanton ones which have lasted over 15 or so years of abuse! carldj90 I use Shure M44‑7. My friend uses Ortofon. Both are great for scratching and mixing. The Shure M44-7 is bass heavy btw.
