Good to see Gammer putting his hardcore superpowers to good use and representing the whole scene as usual.

Even Breeze was too ashamed to put his name to this war crime.

Somehow even wimpier than the original, which I actually quite liked. But this is shit.
Where is the happy in this happy hardcore?
I need to walk away before I bust an artery. |

I absolutely love the original Sigma ft. Paloma Faith - Changing but the remix sounds like crap. Couldn't they've made a hardcore remix?
The tracks from the Knockout circuz mix are the only ones I really like here. Kryptonite, Hewwego, Sun Is Rising... But I do love Here I Am so that was a good throwback.
Rest is shameful, where's the melodic stuff? Half of this is just kick drum, bass and weird farts and noises. It's alright in small doses and if made with care, not just random noises. |

Have to say i'm expecting better from Gammer. The mix seems technical and clip-show-ish, maybe trying to get as many tracks in as possible. A lot of the ideas are great but mixed way to fast as they could arrive and develop. A little less probably would have been more and given the mix a better tension.
But i will relisten and see if i perceive it differently then.
Also i really got weirded out by the pitch changes he does in the first part of the mix. I guess most people don't even hear them so he doesn't need to care that much. |

hahaha dude you should know better by now ;p
gammer relevancy is like.... negative 5 |

I expected worse but it's in line with what he usually does on these mixes. There were some cringeworthy moments though. And yes it's a bit too much to throw all in for just a less than 30 minute mix, even for Gammer. |

I enjoyed it.
Not a massive fan of a lot of the tracks but I always enjoy listening to Gammer in 'showing off mode'.
I don't think it's especially relevant that he's not showcasing the entire scene on mixes like this. People will listen because it's Gammer, not because there's a good chance of hearing something he wouldn't normally play. |

i've not heard many guest mixes on these podcasts that showcase the whole scene, just seems like an excuse to have another go at gammer to me |

How many of them claim to be stalwarts of the scene? |

that was actually better than i thought.
a good track or 2. not the ones that sound like hardstyle; and obviously the trap is not even acknowledged; but besides that; some tracks sound pretty good!
i like the top of the world remix and hey even the update wasnt destroyed! it reminds you that they once made better music. some tracks are actually the right speed and have vibes that bring euphoria too.
my # 1 complaint is still the same though.
just because you can mix like a fkn boss; doesn't mean you should incorporate X different amounts of incompatible genres ( or what could even be conceived as such for such a niche group) in the middle of a set.
i just cannot understand trying to groove out eyes closed; to some lovely sounds; and then some bunk shitty trap music blares through and ruins everything. wtf. like getting punched in the middle of a massage. or eating something tasty and then seeing a FAT mold spot. trying to do a nice painting and some ******* breaks some glass and you ruin the whole thing. 100% cringe worthy. peanut butter and jelly is good; but some things shouldn't be mixed.
i think.... he is making progress though. |

Beth - Don't You Worry Child (Gammer Remix)
Finally! Been waiting for this since 2014 now. |

I liked it, people look into it far too much and also people on here find any excuse to moan about Gammer.
Don't listen to it as a standard hardcore mix for the dancefloor, listen to it as a fun 30 minute ride through the music. |

Saw Gammer @ HAS last night, told him not to play any Drake, he laughed, it was quite a good time :D
Seriously, why are you lot sleeping on HAS??? You need to get down to one! |

DJs on KTRA showcase their own style and producers their own productions. The mix is pretty usual in that regard. Alex Prospect and Fracus & Darwin exclusively played their own productions so Gammer is more diverse there. Happens when you get producers and not DJs. Would probably do it myself as well.
Looking through the guest mix list there are quiet a few UK Hardcore names on it, especially recently.
But Freeform is non existent (or i overlooked it). This needs to change. |

You would think that Kutski would make a better effort at showcasing freeform, given that he's an award winning freeform DJ...

It's hardly mixed, it's more like a bunch of clips rammed together with no crossover at all. is this seriously what people want these days? |

The freeform thing we are working on don't worry! |

Not a fan of this style either to be honest. I like Gammers live sets but the recorded mixes are usually quite frustrating. Bring back the longer intros and mixes, sound much better imo. |
