warped_candykid So, these new Evolution tracks have been pretty great stompers, but I've noticed one thing: Lack of vocal tracks! Is Scott Brown just venturing in instrumentals at the moment? Have his older vocalists decided not to record vocals for him?
DjZelous i think the trend of vocal hardcore died around 2012, i havnt heard too many tracks with vocals after 2012

ehm, Most of his 99-2002 stuff was basicly instrumental aswell. I'd say it's just a phase
djDMS Plus, instrumentals are so much easier to write and produce
ViolonC Only easier in "no effort in dealing with a singer and recording". A good vocal can carry even your mediocre production a long way. With no vocals you need a good lead sound and a good melody/hook or you got nothing.

But then again we are talking about Scott Brown and the man knows his melodies!
Alabaster Where do Evolution Records release most of their music? Is it mostly digital releases?

That's what I meant

I'd say it's 100% now, other than the occational album or limited edition vinyls
djDMS There HAS to be a Scott Brown album this year!
