Thanks for your reply mate.

1) There was a fault on the House-mixes.com website but the link should be up & working again.

2) I'd agree with you that 1999 was a better year overall and the Trance released around that era was off the scale. I've got quite a few Trance mixes from around this time too, including this aptly named one which might be up your street:

This one too is Trance at it's finest in my opinion, all from around the 1999 era I think:

DavieONeill And to be fair, that Clubbers Guide to 99 CD you shared is pretty hard to beat. I used to go to Trance nights playing this stuff, taking it for granted as there were several nights every weekend in the city where I lived. Looking back now, it was a special time!
Triquatra That's Clubbers Guide To Trance, latin. pffffffffffft

clubbers guide to 99 has this cover:

Cool mix :)

why are only 2 of the songs from 1997 though? :P
DavieONeill I didn't check the exact dates of the releases but it'd be surprising iff only 2 out the 11 tracks were from 1997, at least on white label anyway. I remember going to Ibiza in 97 and most of these tracks were getting caned every night. It wasn't meant to be strictly only tracks released in 1997, it just sums up the music in mainstream clubs in that year to me.

That'll teach me not to use calendar years in any mix titles!
Triquatra Great stuff though :)

Wish more people would make older dance mixes like this! Make more!
DavieONeill Got a couple more mate:

Done this one years ago, awesome Pumping House moving on to Trance. Some of the mixing is a bit ropey but the tunage is top-notch.

And also got a Piano House Classics set, some 90s classics in here. Love this one.

Enjoy dude!

Oh I remember listening to that CD when it was first released. We had a music store named Soundwaves that had a great selection of electronic music imports and they even had some on preview, like this one. This one in particular was boring as hell and didn't buy it! Sounds too much like the cheesy shit they played in gay clubs back in the day lol
Triquatra agreed, ignore clubbers guide to 1999.
It was all about Clubbers Guide to 2000; they never beat that one of the year series

Clubbers Guide To Trance was the one that blew them all out of the water though.

Actually listening to it, it wasn't that bad perhaps it got better with age. Certainly some good tunes on there. But what was cringeworthy were the first 10 minutes of the mix. My god that was a mess. Then came a few tracks I liked, then it died again for me. Judge Jules mixes were never a favorite of mine. Will go off to listen to 2000 though!
Triquatra 2000 has a shoddy house cd, with one stand out track (Michael Mood - That Sound)
and CD2 is bit of a trance fest that hit as I was 16 years old and enjoying a blazing summer with boobs, alcohol and beach bbqs....might be a little biased as to why I rate it so high. :D
