This was about 5 years ago and I'm not sure it's been followed up in any way. However, he must be making a fortune from this and his house music, yet continues to produce hardcore, legend in my eyes.

Yep. As I always say, he's way too big for hardcore so he's obviously here for the love of it.
Even without the pop production gigs, he still made bank last decade with Ultrabeat. He has absolutely no financial need for hardcore whatsoever.
