sterichie26 Hi All, I've got stacks of music but im wanting to know thats the best library software for organising them all ? at the moment they are in folders all over the place but im wanting to organize them.

Cheers
whispering I organize by creating folders in windows. Folder for every letter in the alphabet and separate folders for few asian countries, compilations, mixes and vinyls.
I use foobar2000 as the mp3 player. I rip CD's these days with Windows Media Player and record vinyls with Mixcraft.
Samination mp3tag is a good program for tagging, but less good for library (it reads tags every time it starts up). But for tagging, organising files (by tags), it's very good.
My Prefer organising is Genre (format)\Label\Album (if not singles)\cat# track# - artist - title for Hardcore, or just Genre\Album\... for the rest

I also use foobar2k or winamp for playback, EZ Audio Converter for CD-Ripping and transcoding, and MAgix Cleaning Lab for vinyl ripping/cleaning.
Triquatra Yeah I'm with Whispering on that, about windows folders. I've always been warey of using software that may become outdated, delete shit by accident and any number of unforeseen things that could happen when using 3rd party stuff. Call my old fashioned o.o

I use Winamp as my media player. DbPowerAmp's CD ripper for rippin'

I have a MUSIC folder which has 3 folders in it

MP3 - for single mp3s
CDs - CD rips
Vinyl - Vinyl rips

in those folders I have the basic genres, in (some of) those folders I have sub genres.

It isn't the best solution, but I find it's what works for me.
