What would happend if maybe there was some sort of collaboration between hardcore music fused together with rap or country? Do you have any ideas as to what two genres coming together making something rather interesting, or two that you would like to hear about?

People here use that word (Polka) for Freeform/Hardhouse etc type of stuff. Also dancing to that type of stuff is called that too :)

There is a gabber tune out at the minute with the vocals from "road to hell". Can't think of the name though.

You guys are all still thinking inside the square....
What about Jazz and Gabber?
Or better yet, Britney Spear's pop crap with breakcore? Or Hardcore and trance? LOL.
Ok, I think waltz and drum and bass would be wierd. Yeah gabber and jazz wont work. Or anything with salsa. There are some styles of music that just can't be mixed and mashed up well. And don't you dare say anything about salsa and house. Or anything about house. You house and you die.
Disco house is from the devil.

I meant the pop song that was in the UK charts around 10 years ago, didnt realise it was based on an actual country song.

Lol, BK, there is a slight difference between 1995 and the 1800's! And i wouldn't really say the one in the charts was country, I would class it as shite...or pop, same difference.

hey your all wrong if ya wanna mix two different genre's then try speedcore and pop music. that'll make the average teenager dance his/her t1ts off (or go in a fit trying to)

Ehheemmm.... try K8L&Vigo-sum'up(en)bass(iouchtchenko extended oï mix) over at speedbass.net. Honestly, one of the very few speedbass songs to ever grow on me. As for country and hardcore... Speedbass, is your answer (even if it does suck).

Reading through this topic, and wow.... i'm LMFAO! You are all really funny people. Thanks for making my day a little better.
About that cotton eye joe song (still luaghing at all the fuss about it), I know that song. In fact I still listen to it sometimes. Did you know its included in the popular japanese rhythm based game Dance Dance Revolution? Can't remember which DDR game though, too many of em out there.
