Any big Prodigy fans out there? it seems that they are thoughrely underrepresented in the chat/forum scene!
What is ur favourite track and album?
My favourite track has to be Ruff in the Jungle Bizness from the Experience album. In fact, that whole album is ****in amazin! i luv it still after 6 years! Jilted Generation was also a kool albumwith "No Good" (played out or wot? those So Solid Crew bastards!) as well as "voodoo people"-a classic techno track! Fat of the Land was a decent album as far as the Jizz that comes out nowadays can be conscerned but it was a new style attracting a new fan base. Lookin forward to the new album Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned, shouldnt b a dissapointment?
write back and let me know ur favourite tracks/albums/reasons

"The music was like new, black, polished chrome that came over the summer like liquid night"
silver Prodigy was one the first techno groups I liked.... but I thought they were better pre firestarter.

you, me and hardcore forever.
strychnine I still think "Fat of the Land" is one of the greatest albums ever compiled ... just my humble opinion, of course.

Simon I'm the same as Silver I used to love Prodigy pre firestarter also when Kieth was only a dancer for them and not a singer!!!! Loved there older stuff some great sounds and tunes. Their new stuff I really quite dislike unfortunatly it's a shame they've changed there sound to a more commercial sound!!!

Sy.
DJ STYLUS I own all 3 albums on vinyl and the best is experience!!!

The best track is probably No Good (Start the dance)

...Now I feel so pure!!
B.C Yeah, it was kool on videos like "Out of Space" when Keith was just a dancer. Shame about Leeroy leavin tho, he is one of the best ravers i ever seen! that crazy legs dance of his in "No Good" was mental. Ive been tryin 2 do that for 5 years and i still cant manage it!!! haha!

Yeah, I like the Prodigy but they're very recent stuff seems to be crap (Fat Of The Land was good though). The Force & Styles remix of Your Love is brilliant - my favourite HHC tune at the moment

Yeah they are now but they used to produce quality HHC like Charly , Your Love etc......

godisadj Love the Prodigy, 'Out Of Space' is one of my favourites of all time, I heard them on the radio last week but I'm not sure what the track was, It sounded like firestarter but I'm sure the lyrics were new. Anyone else going to see them at Gig on the green?, I can't wait!

"WE'VE ALL GOT A MISSION, WE GET INTO DIFFERENT RUTS, SOME ARE THE COGS ON THE WHEELS, OTHERS ARE PLAIN NUTS!"
TechnoNut It was first thought that the Prodigy song "Charly" was the first CHEESY HARDCORE song. They were much better in the early days and it was the Prodigy which got first into Rave music. So don't Diss

=) 'ardcore!
evans it was probably the new tune babys got a temper its got a sample in it from firestarter

this babys got a temper
you'll never tame her!!

DJ STYLUS Wots the album gonna b called???

...Now I feel so pure!!
virus i used to love the prodigy too, i went to see them in '97, but they mostly played new crap, they played "no good" which was awesome, but it was mostly firestarter, and smack my bitch up and rock stuff like that.. the crowd was a weird mix of ravers & goths, and some one threw a glostick at maxim while he was talking to the crowd hahah

DJ STYLUS I'd luv 2c the prodigy play (But shamefully havnt)

Wot kinda music they do now???

It went from oldskool, to hardcore to crap!!!

...Now I feel so pure!!
evans the albums called always outnumbered never outgunned
at the moment there new material is more rockish than there other stuff
but liam says that the album is going more electronic and that babys got a temper might not even be on a.o.n.o

this babys got a temper
you'll never tame her!!
evans if you want to see tem live they are playing the wittness festival this saturday
reading and leeds on 23 and 25 of august and glasgow gig on the green on the 24th of august

this babys got a temper

Strobe does anyone like prodigy?? i think every single person that lissens to electronic music religiously absolutly love the prodigy- i sure do. there amazing. well liam is the mastermind the other are just singers and for promos- keith inperticular. i went to see them at the big day out and i hate to say it but they wernt that great there stuff was almost punky. i hoped for so much more.

i wish for the day when liam howlet breaks from the group and start producing without all there goth image. bring back the real prodigy experience!!!

-rob

Haeobogoblin i only have their fat of the land album, which i think doesnt contain tracks as good as the tracks released beofre that, my 3 fave. pre-firestarter tracks are "no good", "out of space" and "ruff in the jungle bizness".
but i do like "narayna" from FOTL

"Just because I have a head shaped like an amusing pile of mashed potato, doesn't mean I'm not sophisticated"
miss-mitzi yeah they ok!!!

If computer games effected us as kids, we would all be runnin around in dark rooms munchin magic pills and listenin to repetative music!
DJ Pathfinder only there older stuff

they are shite now

and liam howlett is not so good as you would imagian they said always that they were an band but only liam got all the money but the other tree are als overy important for the pprodigy.

peace to leeroy

iv saw them last year and a few weeks back
it was very dull i was an big fan but they have lost it for me.

You can't see me,because i am the future.
Haeobogoblin heh-heh-heh...overy

"Just because I have a head shaped like an amusing pile of mashed potato, doesn't mean I'm not sophisticated"
MC ADB Liam is god. Nuff said.
If it was not for them we would not be where we are today (where ever the **** that is lol).
They inspired me into dance music. The Crazy legs, the energy, the caustic beats.
Come on Liam make that new album.
