hardcoreteckno has any 'hardcore' tune been commercialized?

Classic happy Hardcore Techno Anthems
Comet Triple J - Follow the Sun (90's in the shade mix) was on Disney channel for no reason at all! -____-

Erbl hardcore has been played on the tv and on radio stations (commercial) in the uk, but there is not really a commercial hardcore tune. some tunes have been remixed though, such as the flip and fill shooting star, they always sound rubbish though

DJ STYLUS Dependin wot country u liv in.... Wonderful days and alot of dune tracks have been comercialised!!! =)

haha wonderful days... dunno how many remixes they've made of that in australia - there's a hardhouse version, trance version, hardcore version, etc.

Kam I'm not sure if this counts as 'commercialised' but its quite interesting nonetheless...

On TV in New Zealand they have used 'Bang - Cloudy Daze' on ads for the news, and one night while watching the International Rally highlights I noticed the tune playing in the background was none other than 'Justin Time - Lose Control 2000'!!! (Which btw was the b-side of Sweet in Pocket 97!)

This has been just in the last year! I cant even begin to fathom where the TV stations got hold of these tunes from.

DJ STYLUS This is just another sign that HARDCORE is GROWNING.
Hardcore is at its peak at the moment (It best get bigger)
More Demand = More Tracks = More Raves = More Money For The Scene!!

Menion There is a channel in Germany called Viva which play Happy Hardcore every now and then, have seen Charly lownoise and Mental Theo videos on there, even "Nakatomi - Children of the night" once. (Don't have the channel here in Sweden)

One commercial happy hardcore track would be "Scooter - Back in the uk" even if it's old it was a big hit when it came.

number2301 All of Scooter is commercialised Hardcore, as much as I'm ashamed to admit it :(

Lots of old F&S stuff was done with a more commercial rmx as well I think

DJ STYLUS Some F&S stuff does sound kinda commercial material but NONE has been released to my knowlege!

alex_g 'Heart of Gold' was given a Uk chart release back in 96 - got to 48 I think. 'Paradise and Dreams' was also released (I think or was it another F&S track?).

On a Ragga Tip, SL2 - was a chart hit in the early 90s

Let me be your Fantasy, Baby D - topped the charts on re-release in 1994

DJ STYLUS Alot of BabyD stuff woz released..........

.......So Pure being the best by far (I own it on vinyl, got it 2weeks ago for £7

CandyAss There's this Six Flags theme part in San Antonio called Fiesta Texas and when I lived in Austin I would hear this ad on the radio with a happy hardcore song in it. I never heard it before, but I'm damn sure it's happy hardcore. I think they wrote it just for the commercial.

djyogi lets not get greeedy with the money otherwise happy hardcore will collapse like how trance has done. All that supports trance at the moment is the commercial values in it. ANywayz i think that all of us as punters and supporters dont even know where we want happy hardcore heading to and its funny , one minute we say we want it to be big but then if it does go big it has to be commercialised and then were all up against commercialism. i reckon that happy hardcore should just stay the way it is at the moment until everyone feels the same way. And dont forget theres like only 20 producers like now at the moment who r just making happy hardcore. i mean look at it same 20 ppl over and over again who r producing. maybe we should ask em where should the scene go and bide by that ??? As we r the punters.

"My only regret in life is that i wasn't a DJ" Draz
pacman ^^^ not all trance is like that. there is a very strong element of that in alot of areas, but that is a pretty big stereotype. i saw scot project and shokk last night and they killed it!

drugs is not the answer... drugs? is the question... yes is the answer
