Hey Guys,
Can you name any tracks that should of got released but for some reason never made it onto Vinyl or a MP3 Store?
I would love to know why some tracks never get to go public if the reason isnt behind any legal issues.
Thoughts?
Dante
Lots of Sharkey tracks :p
acidfluxxbass
Dougal & Gammer - Tripod (Synthwulf Remix)
sashman15
Reese - all his tracks.

For many artists it is common to produce more works than ultimately shown publicly. This is usually simply because the more works done the more there are to choose from making for a better representation of who they are as artists.
Hard2Get
Too many to mention. But as a starting point:
UFO - Don't Let Me Go
Original version of Triple J - Seventh Heaven.
Triquatra
Ramos and UFO - Ravechief (yeah yeah, i know 'one to one' sounds like it, but stil, would be nice to have the original)
Smoogie
Slipmatt - After Dark from 1996. A full on belter of a tune! Why he never released this I never know lol
Hard2Get
Probably because he did not have the legal rights to. He remixed it but it wasn't his song.

Ponder remixed it and released it in 2008, but it isn't as amazing as the original version
also UFO's Flying High, the version that came out on H2BH6
Ph33rViper
DJ Fracus - Love Again
Absolutely the best version of the track IMO and yet never got released and yes there is other versions of the track that got released :P
Andy L - One Day
A track I heard back in 2006 and I got a track ID on it and I dont know if it got released.
A Remix of Watergate - Heart Of Asia that was done back in 2005 - This was seriously one of the best remixes of a Trance Classic. The Story goes that a random 14 year old kid sent Dj Silver a Demo and Kicked some Ass. Was planned to get released but for some reason, never made it. This remix possibly had a legal issue but damn this remix was nothing short of epicness.
John Mc Cash - The Lizard Remix
Seriously, If you ever listened in to Scott Devotion on the UK Hardcore show, you will know what Im talking about. This remix is very good and kills any other remix of the lizard track in Hardcore today.
Bootom Line: I hate it when you hear a fantastic track and yet it never gets released. Plenty of great tracks over the years dont make it :(
Enough of my ranting :D
sashman15
Solapse - Nobody Likes It
Remix of "Nobody likes the records that I play", except way more melodic and epic. Was on the end of the Brisk+Ham CD on Hardcore Euphoria :D
Samination
sash: what reese songs exactly? the one he stopped selling? :)
latin: Didn't that version appear on UNCLE?
Also, I got a CD-R when i was vinyl shopping that has that After Dark tune

which track are you referring to that was released in 1996? can't be white widow you are referring to
and i'm not sure what version of flying high is on H2BH6, but i do know it's not the space is the place mix. it could be the full on mix, which was released on jelly baby, but i'm not for certain.

YES!
raindancerob
Slipmatt - After Dark, Slipmatt & Eruption - Party People (although it was released on vinyl on two albums it was never released as a single), James Venus - Doves Or Dollars? (i have it on a CDr that James sent me but was only a dubplate release & Vibes has the only copy), Babylon Zoo - Spaceman (Dougal Rmx) (i have it on dubplate but it was only ever a dubplate release), SMD #5 (one of the mixes was released in 2006 & they appeared on a CD but only one out of the three tunes has ever been released on vinyl other then dubplate) & The Scotchman - Happy Vibes (Remix) (the remix from 96/97 that again was only a dubplate release & not the later ones on Evolved).
Triquatra
i take it that your dubplate of babylon zoo never sold then rob? i remember seeing it on ebay for 250 and thinking "ouch, would love to, but not for 250" :P
quite a collectors item though!

Hard2Get
God knows why anyone would pay anywhere near that much for it. It's 'ok' at best. Although better than all the other awful versions.
Triquatra
don't get me wrong, I wasnt saying you were ripping anyone off, only that i didnt have 250 to spend on a piece of vinyl! :)
most I've ever spent on just one was 46
raindancerob
i know mate i was just saying that i wasnt trying to & most iv ever paid was 50.
raindancerob

Hard2Get
It doesn't matter how rare it is though when it's not that great :P
raindancerob
i like it but as the saying goes each to their own.
Hard2Get
Regarding the Brisk remix of Now Is The Time it's always sounded blatantly like Brisk so i have no doubt that it is.
raindancerob
what i meant was that he doesnt know anything about my dubplate although he did the remix on the other side.
Hard2Get
Yeah sorry I'm blind and didn't read what you said properly.
raindancerob
no worries mate.

wham bam is on BBR and also on the Bonkers 2 vinyl
was realeased under the name "the big bang" :)
Hard2Get
Terrible tune.
Jimouk
I've always liked this one, never got released strangely...
Google this damn track and I found a thread on USH containing a link to the track :D

This!!!! Searched everywhere for this track last week, and found out it's not released. Back on the old Bonkers it was on (XI I think) I replayed that one track so many times, and now I just want to mix it.
Mr igloo
I always wanted 'Right Now' by Stormtrooper to be released. Crazy tune.
Ph33rViper
Speaking of Stormtrooper
Stormtrooper's Wildstyle is a track I want so BAD!

This was one of the stand-out tunes from Clubland X-Treme Hardcore 6 (three years ago now, wow), and it's one I still play regularly. I did ask Breeze about getting this released on facebook. He told me to e-mail the FutureWorld address and he'd get it sorted. I did, and he didn't respond. :-(
Breeze vs Unique - Reach Out.
The Petruccio & Modulate remix did get released, however. Not my bag, though.
MaidenV
Cube::Hard feat. Ant Johnson - Equalibrium [sic]
DJ Hellfury
Jon Doe - D1A (CLSM Dub Remix)
from Bonkers 13
similar story like Jays with "Breeze vs Unique - Reach Out.": Asked CLSM about releasing it but he haven't sorted it out yet til today ~~

I'll get Equilibrium out..... soon. Ish. Either EP3 for another unannounced project.

considering the CLSM is breaks only now, I guess never :/
_Jay_
Cheese, but proper does it for me. Pretty certain it's still unreleased. Let me know it you know otherwise.
Joey Riot & MC Whizzkid - Lost.
Mortis
I've only just found out this exists so for that reason: Force & Styles - Heart of Gold (DNA remix).
Whilst I'm on the subject of Force & Styles:
Force & Styles - With Or Without You and Force & Styles - Sunshine the version that was on Acetate should both have been released but never made it sadly.
Demo - Your Mine '98. Luckily Demo has said this will be out soon
James Venus & Atomics Control The Nation
S-Real - Sanctuary
Innovate Just Believe
Vinylgroover - Children of the Night
Just to name a few.

Who was he? Maybe Dougal?
btw, when we talk about bonkers, these tunes came into my mind, which are unreleased:
Antisocial - Legends
Hixxy & UFO - Eternity Has Passed

I actually got a version of your mine 98 from beats 24/7, so it was available for a bit even if not officially released.

It was Dougal & Steve Dunkley.

Porn Kings vs. DJ Supreme - Up To Da Wildstyle (Gammer & Andy Whitby Remix)
Its easy (and not entirely undeserved) to write off Bonkers 18 as crap, but Sharkey's mix 2 good tunes in it that are to this day unreleased.
Sharkey, Odyssey & Arkitech - Black Rain is the other one
MaidenV
Enlust feat. Lisa Abbott - Give Me Your Loving (Ponder Remix)
MaidenV
Kid Alaska - Lost Direction (Darwin Remix)
I'm just full of these
_Jay_
How about this special little piece. CDJay might be able to help out with this, but possibly not - due to those weird distribution/licensing agreements with the now semi-infamous Hardcore Undergound 2.
This was at one point on TID, but, again, only due to the odd distribution thing. Phenomenal track.
SMS & Donna Grassie - Freefallin'.

CLSM told me yesterday that his G-Core Records is active again and he will look after this dub remix. Maybe it gets released on G-Core.

That one has been. Bought it myself a while back. :-)
The "special mix" eh?
That is some good detective work you have done there my friend.

Another one I'm sure a lot of people would like to have is the remix of Helix ft Marlon & Becks- UR everithing (that used to be played out a lot in 1998 / 1999)
Hard2Get
Can't be better than the Triple J remix!
174BPM
Mate, surprised you don't know it, was played at helter skeltr / slammin / dreamscape / fantasia etc a lot more than the other mixes, although not a lot different from the others, it doesn't contain the "large/larger" sample. will try and upload a clip to youtube from one of my tapes. and yes, it is the best remix

One I'd love to see released is "Force & Styles - Heart of Gold ('97 remix)"

no. It's the one on United Dance Vol.6 which was a showcase of only their tunes.
The one in the vid you posted is a lot more like the kelly llorena '98 version. The one on UD vol.6 is more like the "original" (quoted 'cuz that's what they called it, and I feel the one in the vid is the real original) released on Diverse with the uplifting elements turned up a notch, maybe two. hehe
Mortis
Ahh. You know, I have the UD6 CD but I never noticed the '97 remix. It sounds very similar to the Rated PG mix. I think the original is still the best IMO.
DJ_FunDaBounce
nice.
the one in the mix is really short, though (2m 37s acording to discogs [which is why I would love to hear a full version]), but I feel sets up the end of that showcase mix perfectly.

I guess he did changed harddrives (sold or trash old HDs) over the years but the last one just broke with no backup.
There are still people out there with no clue about saving files to another external harddrive, UFO was one of them and i guess he was pretty sad and furious when he lost tons of his genius work.
i'm sure he still get questions about releasing old stuff and he don't answer them anymore because he is angry about himself when ge gets reminded about his mistakes
Hard2Get
That means the last hard drive he bought was 15 years ago which i find hard to imagine.

Nah, i guess he digitized all tunes, samples, vocals etc. from all vinyls someday, saved them on one HD and then transfered those files from one HD to another and trashed the old one afterwards.

bumping this old thread because i think it's interesting that many tracks don't get released in this age of soundcloud and such. i would die for these tracks to be released digitally:
UFO - Hardcore (Akuma Goof Remix)

Dowster - X-Hale
UFO & Stu J - Flying Hugh (Full On Mix)
Cascada - Everytime We Touch (S3RL Bootleg)

This track was only given out as a promo to a select few. I know as I got in a fight with someone for supposedly filesharing it. But that's not a problem as I lost the file a long time ago, but I still got it as a part of "Mix 09 - Drug Addicted Hardcore"
Yeah, I knew they were released on Jelly Baby, i'd really love a digital release as my only other option is to buy the vinyl and rip it. I can't expect a digital release though ever knowing raver baby's temperament on release schedules and such. really what i'm try to say is: Jelly Baby was a damn good sub label
Also, that Akuma Goof remix sounds like some hot property :P
