Archefluxx You got her to do the voiceover?
Samination 17 tracks are way to many for an unmixed album, unless most tracks arent longer than ~4:40.

Sorry, but I dont see any value in buying mixed combilations.

still, not much of each tracks if they are really DJ friendly, and Im going by that the disc is 80 minutes full
CDJay Some tracks are, unsurprisingly, longer than others, and the CD is within milliseconds of being full. Hell, we even cut down the gaps between some tracks to make everything fit. It's an artist album so it's not beyond the realms of the established to have some link (or less typical) tracks to keep things interesting.

CDJay

Triquatra it's newsed, and will be news again once its released!
sadly because of the backlog its article has been pushed down a little..

hopefully i'm allowed to stay ontop of the news and these things will happen in a timely manner! :)

fantastic album, will be preordering or buying as soon as I get paid! :D

It's not that the CD is bad, based on the utube clip alot of the tracks are nice. But if I'm allowed to use them on online DJ mixes, I prefer they have some kind of length :P
CDJay ..... which you can. *Most* of them are full length tracks.

There are a *few* shorter tracks, like "Drivetime" and "I'll be Ready", which were written in that manner.

I don't see the problem.

oh there's no problem that's just Semenation being his charming arseholeish self. More than likely he'll pirate it somewhere.
DJ Fracus If you disregard tracks that don't / won't interest DJs immediately (i.e. don't have obviously mixable intros / outros) there are still 13 DJ Friendly tracks in .wav format, with a nice shiny case for 7 including postage. That's pretty good value for money last time I looked! ;)
djDMS I wish to complain. Not about the quality, content or length (which is something Samination has always found to be an issue). No, it's the price. The 9 pounds or so at Play etc is cheap as it is, but this is just daft.

7 quid...is not enough!
CDJay We can't work out why it's so cheap at HMV, either. Still, hooray!

P.S: Why do things get moved here; it's really not like there's a huge number of albums in hardcore at this point to flood "General Hardcore" is it. The scene is in disarray and the lack of a focal point for discussion (IE reliance on fleeting facebook posts and banter) is a contributing factor. It feels somewhat futile to jump through as many flaming hoops as we have to to push a physical UK Hardcore Cd into vendors and then have all discussion of it/them moved into this subforum. Bah, humbug etc.

CDJay
Ionosphere imo, and at the risk of repeating myself, it'd help if the two words 'release announcements' were prefixed with Capital Letters....

oh yeh, excellent CD btw!

and as usual you can go **** yourself :)
Just ask thumpa if I pirated any of his album, yet I flamed them like hell?

No, I might buy this if it goes digital, or I will order it when it comes out.

True, I can't exactly hate the album for having shorter tracks, but I generally like mixing long tracks/tracks that has 2 breakdowns.

unfortunately I can't answer that - I didn't move it! (whenever a "moderator" moves things it says "Edited By Whispering" "Edited by Triquatra") :(
I don't mod the forums anymore, apart from the odd occasion to help out the user (editing youtube vids so that they work, or if I myself put something in the wrong category) totally see where you're coming from though :/
I basically don't mod because its too much heartache, can't defend the rules and don't particularly want to end up being hated by everyone

which to be fair is a massive risk i'm running by sticking my foot in at the "news" end of things haha

I've always wondered why albums such as these and from the HU series always get moved to this section of the forum and not an album from the Clubland series. Technically they're both tracks and release announcements, but they are major news to the hardcore scenes. I never thought it was right that an incredibly high-end quality series like HU always gets the short end of the stick when it comes to things like this.
Craigavon raver Gonna pre-order mine later of hmv
HardcoreUnderground Audio clips of ALL 17 tracks on our Soundcloud page right now:

latininxtc just ordered it! it's the 28th over there so it should be releasing later today UK time. Ordered mine from Zavvi, as they have the lowest price for US shipping as well as lowest price to purchase. If you google zavvi referrer code you get a code to apply on this for 5% off your first order. it's not much, but a discount is a discount!
Simon I've ordered this one up, I'm going to have a whole collection of parcels when I next go home, it always feels like Christmas!
Warnman LOL! Amazon will cost me 31 EUR! Do any cheaper options exist to get this CD to Germany?
I really like to pay for the artists work, but 31 EUR is nuts!

I don't know what happened yesterday, but I could sware that it was this link that showed 31 EUR to me. Anyway, thanks for helping an incompetent internet buyer.

PS: the discount code didn't work for me, but the extra money will not ruin me.
