Dante Sup yo, here's the thread where you can post non-hardcore tracks that blow your mind, and possibly other body parts. Anything goes!

Executive producer: Jay

Get yo Smoog on! or just post regular links, if you prefer.

MaidenV zts - a farce

According to last.fm, I've listened to this tune over 250 times since it came out in 2009 and I honestly have not gotten a bit tired of it. Listening to this while taking a walk along the Boston Harbor coastline at sundown is a lovely experience.
Samination
Simon I have loads, but I'll just choose the one otherwise I'll be here all day!

A high quality version of this track (like straight from the CD itself) played through decent quality headphones is just wow...

There's everything going on in here and I love the slow buildup before it kicks in at 01:35
Triquatra anything by Hidden Orchestra, so as I'm unable to decide which one to post up I'm just going to leave this here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBIsw5rtWjk&feature=player_detailpage#t=128s

if you aren't going to listen to the whole thing, just skip to 2:07 and have a listen to some of the drum patterns

Basically these guys are orchestral music meets glitch meets jazz...but honestly that sounds too simple. Though some of it is samples most of it is done live.

I honestly feel that there isn't any point in making music if you can't add something to a genre, or bring something new or differen't = with that in mind these guys just make me want to not bother, because they are making precisely the music I want to make. I listen to it and say to myself "I wish I wrote this".
kathryn

fave part i like at 3.50 onwards

gimme head - rads.

An instant pick is The First Rebirth, as is santana smooth.
Metallica - Call of ktulu is pure class along with the rest of ride the lightning.

U2 - Bad, from live aid, back when the knob had a voice worth listening too. Just sublime.

Chisel - flame trees.
Stones - sympathy for the devil.

Hard2Get Lol, fail. The ironic thing is there was no broken English, yet in another thread there was and i actually did correct you; having not read your response to this one yet.

You didn't fail to understand irony either. The only failure was to understand what i originally said lol.
DJ Hellfury Dexter - Cabal
Warnman One of the best ballad I've ever listened to:

Nightwish - Dead Boy's Poem (Symphonic Metal)

http://www.myvideo.de/watch/5870878/Nightwish_Dead_Boy_s_Poem
Lilley In addition, Flume has been doing good things all over sydney. Electronica has really been getting good lately. Like this one, but not sure if it makes me hnnff?

Flume - Insane
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peRS3KGNxoY
Beeferchiefer Not that far away from hardcore but, been rinsing this lately:

Such a classic!
Lilley Just found a huge track from back when. Get's me goolies every time.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoYGH5KfGsc
kathryn loving the 'De la Soul' classics from early 90's

rafferty Such an upfront tune this. Very much the current club sound, but still very unique.

NERVO & Hook N Sling - reason
Currently the worlds number 1 female djs who smashed Lisa Lashes off her perch to being out of the top 100. Listening to this big room tune you can see why they are on the top spot.

Sylver live - Sounds very dated the Trance riffs by todays productions. But still a great tune.

DJ Hellfury

the melody is kinda nice
kathryn Oh yes with the bass on full flow

_Jay_ It's my name :-) Pretty sure he's singing about a babe though :-(

Dashboard Confessional - Jamie:

Lilley
scottyd2k9

DJ Hellfury Tiger & Dragon - Rapture (Club Mix)

There are tons of tunes using these vocals but this one is by far the best one
DJ Hellfury Evan Marc & Steve Hillage - Intention Craft
_Jay_ A true classic. Jimmy Eat World - Crush, from the seminal album Clarity, in 1999.

DJ Hellfury

this... is...

(╮^-^)╮┳━┳... (╯^□^)╯ ┻━┻

...just too awesome
Warnman Trance: Miro - Right By Your Side (Originial Mix)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GpRv1EMH69g

If my brain wasn't washed out by alcohol too much this one evening in the past I think I confessed to my best friend that once a woman will talk to me in this way, I'll ask her to marry me.

I always liked this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKsxPW6i3pM
_Jay_ Yeah man, that's another cracking tune. I rinsed the fcuk out of it when it was first out, though. I can still appreciate it's an amazing track, but I've spoilt it for myself lol.

That whole album is sensational, really (Bleed American).
Smoogie
_Jay_

Rousing as fcuk.
