Any reason why signatures disappear from time to time? |
cruelcore1 |
Perhaps because users uncheck the "Check here to include your profile signature." If not, then I dunno, perhaps you should report it to Silver. |

Happens to all signatures. It disappears for like 10 minutes for no reason.
Should check on chrome now, happens on Firefox at least all the time.

Happens in both browsers in thread with 3 pages and above.
Don't know if silver made this on purpose to save resources or not |

Perhaps he was updating something. I don't know, just ask him. |

No. Signature's has never been visible on other pages than the first (and 2nd maybe). I don't know this is so, must be a bug in the theme used maybe. |

I've noticed this before as well actually. Mah. |

Same here.
Somewhat unrelated, but I wish Silver would set up some sort of committee consisting of reliable members from here to assist in managing the site and developing its backend. That would be awesome. |

I'd like to help with that stuff but I know fcuk all about it. |

If you have the spare time you could start out by reading up on Visual Basic, HTML, and CSS. :p Those three languages are actually pretty easy to learn (the latter two aren't even programming languages, just markup languages). |

Offtopic - since I agree with this helping silver out thing in silence - but this quote reminds me of this picture

I've tried using some forums, but that was on PHP. Silver is using ASP and it's not something i've played around with other than a few seconds reading a book. Considering I got PHP up and running on my IIS (Microsoft's webserver which is mainly ASP), I didnt need to either :P |

Never not seen the signatures come up, they are dynamic so there is no reason for them to not come up.
As for the site, we run a MS stack, ease of use and the fact 13 years ago PHP didn't really exist in any great programming form so it was either a MS stack or CGI / Perl and **** perl. |

I'll take a screenie next time I see it.
Edit: actually, I see it right now.

Do you still have that book? :) |

Hmmm seems like page 2 or the other pages besides 1 don't have signatures
Edit: Fixed it :)
Edit: Was brought up 5 years ago :)
