Meathead Please post a tune that, everytime you hear it, makes you sit back and just say "wow", makes you think, brings tears to your eyes, a smile to your face, makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, makes you glad to be alive etc. Beauty is a subjective thing, of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder and i'm interested in seeing what you all consider to be a beautiful piece of music.

Youtube embed/link or whatever you want. I'll start us off with a few.

Sub Focus - Last Jungle

Kings Of Leon - Closer

Burial - Untrue

Nine Inch Nails - Hurt

Oasis - Stop Crying Your Heart Out

Led Zepplin - Stairway To Heaven

London Elektricity - Just One Second (Apex Remix)
Revs I like the tunes you posted Meathead, good selection!

Getting High - Brisk & Ham

All About You - Scott Brown

Future Is Now - Euphoria

V.A.G.A.B.O.N.D. feat. MC Wotsee - True Awareness

Euphoria - Open The Void

CLSM - Move On (Jon Doe Remix)

Uplift & Euphony - Hand of God

And many other Cube::Hard, CLSM, Storm & Euphony/Uplift & Euphony stuff I couldn't find on Youtube!

I love japs :D as i said in the first post beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I wouldn't personally class pop punk as beautiful but you would and that's ok.

And i'm perfectlty comfortable with my sexuality. Music is beatiful, simple as. If you think calling it that is gay and makes you uncomfortable i think you may need to think about your preferences ;)

Chris De Burgh - Lady In Red

Including that. Get out now :p

Couple more to add

StrifeII - Soul On Fire

The Verve - The Drugs Don't Work

Revs Oh, here's one I forgot… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8zXLQCx5gw

From the movie "This is England". I love this song!

Have to agree with Stairway To Heaven. I don't like a single other tune of theirs or anything in that genre really yet that song is amazing, every time i hear it i always wonder where they got the idea for it because it's just so much better than music in that genre normally is, really not your everyday song at all. Also love The Drugs Don't Work! Again not a fan of any of their other music or again that genre in general but yeah i do love that tune.
I think this is a brilliant idea for a thread personally although i can't off the top of my head think of anything! There is lots of songs i just can't think of them at the moment (always the way lol).
Meathead My dad's a really big Zep fan. When i started playing guitar he made sure i listened to that everyday and eventually learned to play it (kinda lol). I'm not a massive fan, though off the top of my head Black Dog and Kashmire are good too. Same for The Verve the only album of theirs i own is Urban Hymns that The Drugs Don't Work was taken from. Other than that album, which i liked most of the songs on, i can't say i like any of their other tunes, other than their recent single Love Is Noise.

Not enough discussion of music on this forum, especially music outside of Hardcore. Looking forward to your tracks mate.
näkkk Woo! kudos to redwingz for posting Chesterfield King, definitely one of Jawbreaker's best tunes! The Ataris track is also good, although I prefer their first album :)

here's a few of mine:
Brookes Brothers - Tear You Down
Sigur Rós - Hoppipolla
Björk - All is Full of Love (video features robot girl on girl love (not porn). Death Cab For Cutie's version is good, too)
Röyksopp - Only This Moment
U2 - Red Hill Mining Town
James Morrison - Wonderful World
8D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hjx1JXd50EU

just delightful
Taiko As I'm home now, I'll add this one:

Duke Special - No Cover Up
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbbVtuXh5s0

Future_Shock I personally don't think gabber is beautiful... nor particularly party hardcore tracks...

just saying...

BEAUTIFUL song though:

Nobuo Uematsu - Aerith's theme. Like it or not, its a ****in beautiful song.

Mortis

^^ Such music writing ability on display here. More so Lennon's sections.

^^ The lyrics to this song describe pretty much everything I felt and was about until I met Kathryn.

^^ First brought to my attention via Shimamura, his version is stunning but the original is defiantly worth a mention as a beautiful song.

^^ What can I say.

^^ First off I'm amazed this is on youtube and second, wow what a piece of music.

^^ The emotion that she poured into this song is beyond belief, it gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.

I could go on and on.

Hard2Get At The River is an absolute tune! A personal favourite of mine.

The beggining of the track is imense but it gets a little too Nu Style for me in the middle lol The original is said to be one of the greatest tunes off all time, indeed one of the best tune from an American artist! Where can I buy the new version? I need a 2009 tune for my next mix.

Here is another 'beautiful' Gabber tune

Tbh, up until all that bung bung bung nonsense, that was a very beautiful piece of music.

Lot of very nice tunes so far, especially from Mortis (i'm going finding a guitar tab for that Dire Straits tune), but i do think some people have gotten the wrong idea with this thread. Either that or they just don't know anything about music lol ;)

Are well music is all about taste. I found your Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros tunes very boring actually and definitely not beautiful. Where did you find these songs, at a garage sale for 50p?:) Sound like they belong in the 60's.

I don't like her dirty song either and admit it was trashy, was mud not poop for the record. You have to give her credit, she is hot and can sing. A vocalist with a range like that would be a dream for any hardcore producer wanting to do a female vocal track.
Much more enjoyable than the magnetic stoner hippies:) Those classic club tracks you added were ok though.

Phobz Lange - Follow Me... damn I can listen to those lovely vocals all day long. The melody and everything is perfect in that song.

This is a really nice song :)
