Hard2Get If you like traditional Hardstyle download this at once. I had no idea such tunes were still being made. In fact by all standards it's one of the best Hardstye mixes I've heard. Shame about the last but one tune, and one other one, but that's ok.

Well, German authorities don't allow me to play your posted link, but I connect DJ Taucher, Trance and HR3 Clubnight together to the conclusion this one must have been an astonishing set.
2-4 years I missed to finally dive into the scene back these days...
This is so frustrating!

It's a 2 hour 55 min Trance set from 1998. There is tons of these sets on youtube too. More good tuneage found within this one event on youtube than i have found with my own searches in many months.

I know, but it keeps leaving me frustrated.
I really don't wanted to be a raver guide for the new genereation these days (especially after I missed the majority of it), but nowadays the folk is demanding for pushers of the rave scene. I'll try my very best over here!

Some really timeless classics in there. It's like a mix of songs that don't sound like they are from the early 90's.

Joint all time favourite Trance mix. It's really something special (not because i like every tune a lot, but because the tunes i do like are amazing. Although i do like most tunes a lot, which is rare for a Trance mix from then, even though i love that era of Trance so much). Also where i know Deep Blue from.

When I listened to it back in 2003 for the first time ever, I was astonished that a radio station for electronic music only was possible in the U. S. because I experienced this country being a f**kin'n desert for this kind of music. Hands Up and Electro had killed my first hope in a rave revival right afterwards.

Mixcloud is for those not paying 99 euros to be able to upload many sets and I guess the crew behind mixcloud isnt that afraid to get sued when someone uploads a trance mix with tv ad tunes like soundcloud do. They deleted some of my trance / house mixes because there were 1 track per set each and labels blocked them because they used it for tv ads... >5 year old tunes used in 3 year old commercials, still blocked... pff

Lilley Album of the Day

Undertow by Tool
I'd say one of the definitive Heavy Metal albums of the 90's, along with Follow the Leader by Korn.

Lilley Album of the day:
Sparrowsound - Free to a good home

This doesn't count as hardcore anymore now that hardcore has been through the blender so many times and chances are many would not have been around when this was released on rfugrey 005. Simply astounding music. Guy was only about 16 or 17 when he produced this too. Beautiful.

Playlist link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geEUGLhmLz8&list=PL763A05855D45D9B6

Lilley Album of the Day
Evanescence - Fallen

Amy Lee has a voice from heaven

Lilley Album of the Day:
P.O.D. - Satellite

POD was an interesting band. No two albums really sound alike. Prior to their success they did mostly rapcore/metal. Fundamental Elements of Southtown was simply raw sound. Satellite was somewhat typical numetal. Payable on Death was mellower. Testify was mellower again but quite different, quite funky. I never ended up listening to When Angels and Serpents Dance, despite owning it for years. I should do that one day.

Satellite was just a great album. POD is just a great band, certainly one of my favourite bands.

Album art:

Lilley Brian Altano - Misanthrope

It's very different. It's very good. It's an electronica/instrumental album for free download from here. My wife's brother-in-law (technically not my brother-in-law I think) put me onto this one. It is very proggy, though aslo very electronic based. My one bugbear with it is imo an overuse of distorted drums. But really, that's fairly minor all told. Matt & Jay, I reckon you'll love this one.
