Current hardcore is barely exciting enough to listen to and it certainly doesn't inspire me to get mixing.
You're not missing much. I'll probably give up on hardcore completely soon. |

I just upgraded my kit so can now record mixes, here's one I done recently although to be honest there's nothing particularly new on it. Was just a drunken mix hence me going overboard with the effects. More to come, hopefully have time to do one at the weekend.

Both good mixes. Second one was a teeeeeny bit sickly for me, but still really enjoyable. There was a Sparkz tune in there from 2014. I thought he packed it in. Is he still knocking some bits out? I really liked his stuff. The play-again factor on this one is insane.

Most of the stuff released from the last few years doesn't do it for me, but there is always stuff out there, somewhere, that I do like. But I've not listened to a single new bit since before the summer so I'm just trying to make sure I haven't missed any diamonds among the rough.

You might enjoy any of my most recent mixes I've put up. They all have a good mix of old and new stuff, and a good handful of mash ups as well (the Summer Bash mix is entirely mash ups). "Big Powerful Music" is also a promo mix I handed out at a few gigs, and shares of few of my favorite transitions from recent events I've done.

read closely cunt! I have never complained about any current quality of hardcore as a whole, just a few factors of it. I still manage to find a lot of stuff I truly enjoy. I don't dwell on the past too much or else that's time spent missing out on finding current new stuff that I can enjoy just as much. |

Seriously though, I love hardcore and I thought things were still pretty good right up until a couple of years ago. Why should I have to sit back and say nothing as the music I love becomes unrecognisable? It's not "trolling", I'm genuinely upset and this seems like the perfect place to express it.
I'll never be one of those people who makes a consistently high volume of negative posts because I don't have the energy for that but I would've thought the occasional outburst would be understandable. |
