sorry but i had to post sayin bigup to styles for his awsome voice and vocals on some of his/f&s tracks.....only found out it was styles singing about a week ago! <- me = spak!
anyone else think his vocals are quality?

Yeah...he's not bad....I think he had to start to do the vocals when Junior went on "Holiday" for a couple of years.
He's also done some Vocals for his tunes with dj Breeze  .

I think he sings pretty well actually, and I really couldn't imagine someone else's voice on a track like Pretty Green Eyes or Pacific Sun

Yeah i agree wi Lixx, i think that pretty green eyes is a darn good choon, wouldnt be the same if someone else sang on it!

I think seriously Junior is a good singer as is obviously styles, Both made a real change, from all Chipmunk or Girly tracks suddenly their was a whole sway of blokes singing, Lullaby is my favorite but green eyes is close;

I agree with that . songs like pacific sun, feeling fine, higher ground all sound very similar. I like Do you feel the same though. Did he do the vocals to that to???

there are a lot of people i know that don't particulary care for males singing in hardcore. i think as long as it sounds good, why not...
and when i heard higher ground for the first time i thought it was a remake of feelin fine =P

i like male vocals, and i thought the tracks with junior were great.. well except for "remember the vibe", i didnt like that tune at all!

In response to the "porridge" thing....heh, he announced on one of the skelter tapes why he was......."on holiday", it was his first set back at skelter alongside F&S, cant remember wich pack, think it was lost in music...anyway, some male vocals are class, for example Jay Mallone's vocals are awsome, especially in "Dual Love"......

I prefer Male Vocals...I think it's sounds maybe a little less cheesy, anyway that's just me.
This scene has thousands of tunes with female vox and Male vox I feel are a very nice variation. Especially with both Styles & junior IMO having really good singing voices .

Exactly! I really rate Junior as an MC but the one thing that's stopped him being more popular is the fact that regardless of what the DJ is doing he always seems to go off doing his own thing - must think that we'd rather hear his vocals than the ones on the songs!
Still a better singer than Styles though
