Hey everyone, new poster here, loving the forums! I hope I'm not duplicating an existing thread on this, but I didn't find anything recent. Anyway, I thought it would be cool if we shared some of our favorite free VST/AU/AAX plugins. I'll start off with a few of mine:
1. Basslane - https://www.toneprojects.com/basslane.html
As a beginning music producer, I was stymied by the 200 MHz stereo floor, not really sure the best way to approach it without just cutting off low frequencies. This plugin automagically puts frequencies below a given frequency in mono and provides some nice upper harmonics effects.
2. Whispair - https://www.fullbucket.de/music/whispair.html
Really nice wavetable synth that can hold its own with the big names. I only wish I could find more presets for it.
3. Nils' K1V - https://www.nilsschneider.de/wp/nils-k1v/
A reverse engineered emulator of the Kawai K1, this synth offers a huge bank of presets for that retro, late '80s synth sound.
