ok not been into hardcore for a few years , instead turned to d&B however i will always love hardcore and have been listening to some old tapes again. However all the new stuff i have been hearin is just like speeded up crapy trance or even worse hard house, when i listened to hardcore it wasnt influenced by the mainstream dance world. It was it's own entity and proud of it with its unique untouchable total rush vibe all i am asking is is this is the case in 2002

I know exactly what you mean, hardcore is such an awesome style of music and the last thing we need is all this toy trance stuff coming into it.. toy trance died/is dying because its the same shit over and over (not to mention fairly smple to make). It goes from one frenzied ecstatic peak to another.. up and down.. we really dont need this to happen to hardcore. Hardcore is great how it is (was?)

On the other hand you have to also look at it from the producers point of view.. I can imagine the guys/gals who have been making happyhardcore for as long as its been around are probably sick and tired of hearing the same stuff year after year.

However, The last thing we need is for hardcore to loose even more credibility and rip (and not just direct rips.. i'm talking riping the same kinda techniques and buildups) from mainstream tunes.. its bad enough that hard house and the like are ripping from hhc.

I havent heard too much of his stuff recently because hardcore doesnt make it to australian shores as much as i'd like, but i like the direction ufo was taking with NIFY01 deep inside/connected.. yes its trancey but its still got its old hardcore bounce and funfactor to it.

Hardcore was always unique and i'd like it to stay that way.

my 3 cents, feel free to disagree

A good way to threaten somebody is to light a stick of dynamite. Then you call the guy and hold the burning fuse up to the phone. "Hear that?" you say. "That's dynamite, baby." -Jack Handy

well the "making money" thing has so far broken happy hardcore more than made it...

We need to kinda show in sum way that we like the new stuff to but the old formula is jst as gud:) i think if they kan find an equilibrium wihtout goin to hard or too trancey then hardcore will b betta for it,

go too the flow where the E wil rush me ooooooohhh Rush me.....e rush me...go to the flow where the e will rush me..rush me nicely.

I haven't really been in the scene that long, but there seems to be a lot of hope in the shaping of hardcore in the US. I know that there aren't that many people here in Dallas that like it, but maybe they're just listening to the wrong kind.

Oro?!
