Seriously! I've been living in Paris for a month, been to plenty of clubs and I haven't been impressed. Where can I find some good techno, and of course happy hardcore!
My girlfriend told me that she doesn't like techno because she can't dance to it... and she has been clubbing in Paris for 3 years. WTF is wrong with these froggy DJs!

I'm also living in France, there only electro or House here :(
if you want techno you have the rexclub but for hardcore there's nothing

It's been 4 months now since my last rave ("Together As One NYE" in Los Angeles) I'm going out of my mind!
What do you do for a hardcore fix, wade through the freezing water over to London?

Find like minded individuals & maybe start your own club night ;)
Grow your own scene in Paris :D
I know that dose sound very hard but would be pretty cool imo :)

If you like Harder stuff then go to Frenchtek in May. Free festival that is ran every year and deffo worth going to. Some discussion on it can be found here - http://www.partyvibe.com/forums/free-parties-teknivals/40068-french-tek-2010-a.html Details are limited being a free festival of course.

I would love to create a scene here but I've just arrived and have no network here, in California I ran an event company!
I actually have a venue in mind where we could do a stage of happy and a stage of something more main stream to get numbers, but still I have no contact with promoters or anyone else in the biz here in Paris.

I'll need to find out more info from these people about future events, but as far as I read of the translation the event was 10th of April (last saturday)

Hmm... I'm trying to figure out where Frenchtek is, and do I understand correctly that it's also called Teknival?

well, i has began saturday, but it was succesfull then they will do their event every month. i don't know anyhting about these people, i've just searched something for you ;)
