With the end of the year fast approaching here is the 2nd 'Vs' EP from NSR of 2010. The 'Doug Horizon vs X-Cyte EP'.
Doug is widely known for his vinyl release on Blatant Beats where he collabed on a track with one half of Hardcore Heavens best breakthrough DJ act, Darwin. For this EP, Doug once again teams up with Darwin and this time Taya too for a huge vocal track! His second installment is another massive vocal track that was featured on the Hardcore Addiction 3 CD album. Doug's reputation is growing all the time as he begins to sign tracks to various labels and can already boast a vinyl release. He also Djs and promotes the event 'Activation'.
X-Cyte of course needs no intro to NSR followers. He is ever-present and provides two tracks for this EP that couldnt be more different. The first is an awesome vocal track featuring the talent of Marie Louise, while the second is a fast paced freeform influenced number. X-Cyte has seen a number of releases on NSR aswell as Cutting Edge, Bassface, Fallen Island and others. He has also mixed a disc on the last 2 Ravers Addition download albums.

Love the whole EP, and despite my love of vocal goodness, Overdrive is my favourite. So much energy in that tune. Absolute cracker.

It is a very vocal based EP, but I must admit, Overdrive is pretty awesome, its got a real freeform influence to it that give it so much power.

It's going well mate! Probably drinking a bit too much for my own good, but I'm not really paying too much attention to that. Off to Thailand in early December for the next leg of the journey. Got a few mates flying over for a few weeks at Christmas time - should be nice and messy. :-)

It will be out in 2011. It may be featuring on a CD compilation we are planning, so wont be released until after that CD. Should it not make the CD, it will be out sooner :)

We will be back in January 2011 with some UK Hardcore
