Am I missing something or has there been no updates to the news section on the homepage since October 28th 2011!?
Whats the story here? As far as im aware things have been pretty busy for Hardcore over the past year.
There was a lot of albums released that didn't bow down to the mainstream, Nu Energy 100, Kevin Energy's 'My Rave', World Heavyweight Freeform, Watchtower Records first album, but to name a few!
Seriously, nearly half a year since the last update, that's wild! Mabey guys like Jay & Mortis (if he's still around) should be given more freedom to keep us updated on the ins & outs of the scene (If they want to that is).
Anyway, just wanted to get that off my chest...

Don't know. Someone (wilky) said to remove it altogther, but I'd rather see more updates.
I haven't PMed Silver yet, but I don't mind making digital release updates from now on. I think I could make an easy mirc (or php) scripts so i could make posting all the urls easier.
And jay could clearly help me with the freebies updates too ;)

Me and Silver did have an e-mail exchange before Christmas (a few months before that even, maybe) about doing something together with the news - but we never really got past that.
In all honesty, I've only just myself gotten back to regular updates with my blog (since around mid November), and it's only because I'm unemployed and have some free time that I can carry on with that. Once I'm working again (sooner rather than later, I hope [interview on the 19th]) I'm going to be looking at one update a week on Highlights if I'm lucky. So, in summary, I can't really commit to anything involving this site.
Would love to, in theory. I do genuinely love this site (purely because of the forum/forum users). But I don't have the time or the inclination to spend time on it I'm afraid.

The news section for me hasn't been updated since 2005. Plus even then there's interviews and such. I'd like to see more of those - I saw a few forum topics with interviews, so we should relay them to the interview section.

I think that depends on if their archived or not, I tried clicking on October 2011 (there's news from that month) but it says nothing to view, but clicking on 2011, it shows :P

I don't even go onto the home page anymore, just straight to the forums, don't come on the site nearly as much as i used to, but i always used to go to the home page first before the forums but now i just don't bother
