I keep seeing these videos popping up of various people like Kutski and Gammer using digital set ups and they look pretty cool, definetelty something I'm looking into.
I have no idea what seems to be the required set up though and which systems are the best. Can somebody who currently uses it or has done gimme some advice on what to look at and prices etc?
My current set up is:
Numark TTX1 x 2
Pioneer CDJ 350 x 2
DJM 700
Laptop
Desktop
Behnringer UFono

most use traktor or serato so first thing you'd need to do is make sure you're laptop could handle using traktor or serato.

I'd recommend bare minimum of 4g ram as you get more songs you'll need it.
you'll need to make sure you get an audio card with the system you choose as your mixer doesn't have one. you're cdj 350s have dedicated midi mapping with traktor.
if you're just wanting to do just straight mixing I'd go serato, traktor you can do straight mixing as well as controllerism (it just takes a bit of prep time).
I personally don't like how the tracks scroll (up and down) in serato so I went with traktor scratch pro 2 (also for learning controllerism) with the audio 10 and haven't been happier.
