Nice and bouncy! You're on the right path.
And I am usually more interested into slower melodic tracks.

Did you get Scott's permission to do this remix? He has posted before that he doesn't like people doing unauthorized remixes.

Does he get any say if Dopes not used any of Scotts recorded samples? Isnt the sample used from another song prior to SB's one?
I dont think Sb will do much, or can do much.

what does the laws actually say about practicing production?
Or does everyone who is learning how to play Deep Purple's famous riff from Smoke on the Water breaking a copyright?

I personally think that this remix is fine. Ive remixed SB before and got plenty more attention for it and had no rebound.
If Scott Brown can prove that this remix infringes his copyright, then he has a case. The only questionable section of this track is the vocal sample, but did SB record that himself? Probably not. Would he risk claiming he did? Probably not.
However, I do ponder what the law is on using someones name in a Remix/Bootleg. Can you credit them in an unauthroized remix?

i found the accapella in a folder full of ol american artists full of old motown accapellas the accapella was named unknown - what you like so i doubt it is scott browns i tried making my own track out of it but it didn't sound right
if it were me i would be happy that an unkown producer was remixing one of my old tracks as long as no money was being made from it of course
if scott does want it removed then all he needs to do is politely ask and i will remove the track...until then the track stays put!
